Late Night Scandals
@ravermeer location: draeben time: night
The details had been vague but they had been tasked with the mission of searching for traitors who had supposedly stolen money from Artur. It was difficult to piece together clues but Draeben was certainly one of the centers of wealth wasn’t it? And thus, he had found himself with a few other knights, one in particular that stood out from the others.
Rohan Vermeer - he had heard the name, remembered the stories that followed. Never would he have expected to be in the same battalion as the other. His reputation certainly preceded him. If the worst case scenario was to come, Yasuo trusted that he could flee while the more experienced man took charge.
He walked side by side with the other, his tongue felt caught between his teeth as barely a word was exchanged. It wasn’t like Yasuo was daft, he knew of the other’s notoriety as a fairy slave trader. It only made the wings on his back shrink even further. His identity was hidden more than ever, especially as a soldier in Brittania. The air was cold and the snow fell harder with each second. If they didn’t seek for warmth soon, surely they’d freeze to their deaths first.
He turned to glance at the other, “which way do we go?” ignoring the breeze that blew against his face. There weren’t too many options, and certainly not at night when most of the available locations were scandalous properties listed either in the red light district or in gambling sectors. For a man of his status, he would’ve never imagined himself approaching either establishment upon his free will.
