Our Anatomy Classes ended tonight with alittle history and chaos, thank you to ALL that have participated in previous classes 💚

Blaming a certain undead fairy for making me think of things.

It’s canon that Ban hates himself.  He still thinks he’s trash, and if he doesn’t have something like adventuring with the Sins to occupy him, he get easily depressed even if he’s good at hiding it.  People don’t worry too much about him because he’s immortal, but I don’t think they really consider how he’s affected emotionally. 

When he was a kid no one cared about him because he was just street trash.  Now he’s got immortality no one worries too much about him because he can’t die.

When he returned to the Fairy Forest Gerharde’s actions probably only reinforced his low opinion of himself.  I understand why she did what she did, she really does care about the Forest and Harlequin.  But for Ban it’s probably just another instance of him only being useful as a thing, as the Spring of Life/Fountain of Youth, and not as a person.

I really think that’s how he sees himself.  I want to see him confronted about this.  Every so often he cracks and we see that he’s got feelings,but I need more.  And I want people to appreciate this dumb fox.
