Matthew had been enlisted to return as a doctor to fight the virus. He had paused their creature research to instead work on a vaccine. Diana was kept home with the twins, they had returned to Oxford and Matthew kept Diana locked in the Old Lodge. He was barely sleeping and had stopped feeding staying up all night to do research. Diana sighed as she watched her husband working himself into a state of frenzy unable to help him.
