Because I haven't found a better place for it, my old "God Girl Bible" is sitting on my shelf right where I can see it every morning when I wake up. I remember reading some of the devotions and stuff in there and thinking back on it... the whole God Girl book set (including a book that was just "God Girl" and another that was "God Girl Devotionals" or smth) was just not great and I kinda want to go through some of the ones in the Bible specifically and break down what's bad about them and what messages it sends to teenage girls if anyone would be interested in that?
#i had all 3 at one point but i lent at least one to a friend who ive stopped talking to years ago#and never got it back#and the other one is lost. so i only have the bible part of the set#ofc there was a matching god guy bible that i really wanted to look at when i was 14#(repression anyone?)#but i am. very glad i didnt#shay speaks#ex catholic#ex christian#queue#okay2rb#only queueing this bc i might decide not to do this later#but id take requests for like. certain passages to see if the editor had any notes or devotions based off smth
