     there is a woman, tending flowers in the garden.      water trickles from a steel watering can  and his      eyes follow its path,  right down into the dry soil.      these gardens certainly  could  use the up-keep.

     it’s hard to sleep, these days.   it’s hard for him to lose      himself to a slumber.      even when rest is desperately      needed, he fights it ---  almost as though he’s afraid of      what waits for him in the dark.

     but now,  by some miracle,  he sleeps.    roxas is off in      another world,  another place,  a middle-ground where      the  ghosts  can’t  catch  him  and his mind  is  free  to      wander.

     or so he thinks.

     the longer he stays in his slumber, the colder he feels.      something is watching him.   something is waiting for       him.     roxas turns, pivots on his heel in his dream, in      this world that must be a fabrication ---- and freezes.

     saïx just has to do everything himself, doesn’t he?  he’s sent      axel to castle oblivion a whole handful of times and with each      return, he is left without answers. 

     he must know. he has to know.

     so now, this nobody is taking matters into his own hands and      he’s searching  for  the  hidden  chambers  on  his  own  time,      using  the  only  break  that  he’s  been granted by xemnas in      years to ( hopefully ) sate his curiosities.

     footsteps echo soft in the hall, and he takes his time to exam-      ine. if he’s going to be here, he’s going to do this search right,      and he’s going to have results.

     roxas watches the hooded figure wander about through the      castle, curiosity hidden behind deep blues as he rubs at the      insides of his coat sleeves with index and thumb.    the new      addition  acts  differently  from  how  he and xion did;   they      don't appear to be a zombie, at least.

     he's unsure of whether or not to  approach,   seeing  as  the      organization's level of friendliness varies dramatically.
