I've never felt so superhuman as I did just now, as I searched AO3 in vain for a fic I read a few years ago (I've been downloading them like crazy when I have signal to read when I don't). I was slightly misremembering the title, causing it to just... not pop up, which was so irritating, especially when my signal sucks and the site is loading so. Slowly.
Imagine my delight when I came upon a vague memory of having copied the link to the fic into a note on my phone. Found the note, which contained so many unlabelled links (*cries in disorganised writer*). Grabbed the right link on the first try.

I’m sure the fact the next part is named “Two Betrayals” is nothing ominous AT ALL, right? It’s probably a flavor of ice cream and Chief and I are heading to an awesome ice cream party because, wow, have we been busy lately fighting the Flood and we totally deserve an ice cream party! Look at how cute we are, don’t we deserve ice cream?
Well, I’m going to go enjoy my theoretical ice cream cone, take the rest of the night off and just be so glad to have made it through this tough level! It looks like it took me about 2 hours of game play to make it through. I’m at 18 hours total so far and I don’t even care how probably laughable that is. I’m making progress, YAY!!!! 🥳🎉
