Of course you may! Admittedly, I had a harder time making this one "fluffy"... I think it has to do with me picturing him as a playboy type... (-_-;)
Don't imagine hearing your spoiled cat's yowling, only to find it halfway up a tree and refusing to come down no matter what you do.
Don't imagine someone whispering an awful pun in your ear and then laughing when you jump from how badly he startled you. How he expertly distracts you from your anger by redirecting your attention back to your stranded kitty. How he immediately climbs up the tree and softly asks how it managed to get itself so stuck.
Don't imagine how he scoops up the feline, cradling it in one arm as he descends the tree. How he seems unbothered by its claws leaving deep scratches in his leather armour. How he smiles as he hands back your cat and even gives it a few pets.
Don't imagine how he makes a few comments that would normally be innocuous but you still find yourself blushing. How he smirks and moves closer so he can whisper in your ear again. How his phalanges lightly brush against your arm before he pulls back again.
Don't imagine wondering who he was days afterwards. How you can't seem to get him out of your head or how you can't help wondering why he helped you. How the memory of his honeyed words still make you blush like a schoolgirl.
Don't imagine him stopping by your home unannounced, claiming that he wants to check on your cat. How he gives you a charming smile as he speaks and you can't help the shiver that runs down your spine. How you willingly ignore the little voice in the back of your head that's questioning how he knew where you live.
Don't imagine him coming to see you more often with increasingly awful excuses each time. How you start looking forward to his visits and how your heart aches with each day that you don't see him. How his visits become less about your cat and more about spending time with you.
Don't imagine losing track of time and insisting that he stay the night rather than travel in the dark. How he barely puts up a fight and seems all to happy to accept your hospitality. How he manages to sweet talk you into staying up a bit longer. Definitely don't imagine how his arms snake around your waist and how he rests his chin on your shoulder.
Don't imagine waking up the next morning, tangled up in each other's arms. How you realize that you could get used to this. How cuddly he is when he's half awake and how genuine his compliments become. How your cat is snuggled up against his skull, as if it silently approves of your choice of partner.
