My little squish had his one-year well visit on Friday. He’s 32 inches (!!) and 25 lbs, putting him at 81st percentile for weight and 97th for height. NINETY SEVENTH. I knew he was gonna be tall, but jeez. Big boy!
It’s Sunday evening. B had a last minute call and had to run out to take care of some real estate business, which totally sucks for him. I feel bad he has to go out so late on a Sunday night to deal with it, but it is what it is. As for me, dinner is done, babe is bathed and sleeping peacefully, fridge is stocked with food for the week, dishes are clean, laundry is folded, and my feet are up. Gonna enjoy a bowl of ice cream and the first episode of season 4 of Ozark. 🙌🏻
Something inside of me died that day.
