The past two weeks have been so busy, there are many things I haven’t been able to post about. So throughout today I am going to post a few things that have happened!
These photos are from the Colfax 10 Miler. I run it typically solo every year and it’s always a good race. You start by joining the marathoners in the art area and run along Colfax for several miles (a huge street in Colorado) and then you head into the football stadium before following a trail for a while into downtown Denver. The finish is at a park not far from there and this year it was especially packed!
I was slow and had a 15:08 overall pace, but I was never once worried about getting kicked off the course and everyone around had such positive energy. The weather was also perfect. It was cool and cloudy, but not super cold or anything. This race always reminds me why I love running.
Whatever your pace and size - get out there and try a race!
