I’ve really had a craving this week, a craving for depth and romance and richness. I’ve missed touching and feeling, feeling softness and and warmth. I’ve been wanting kisses that last forever and speak volumes, and closeness and losing myself in my special person, to just burrow in and bury myself in love that will last. I want the color of the love to be red, not cherry red but a deep wine red, rich and smooth and full of sensation. I want to hold and be held, to breathe in the warm aroma of the one I love the most, to feel the heartbeat and let my senses fill up
You are the stars in my sky
You are the fish in my sea
You are the trees of my forest
You are the birds among my clouds
You are the fire in my core
You put light and life in my world, filling moments with song, spark, and smiles
I miss you so much, every bit, every inch, every piece, in all the ways a person can miss another, and I want nothing more than to lose myself, immerse myself, in you
I can't wait to see you, hold you, touch you, kiss you, laugh with you, spend time with you, and more than that, experience you, once again
I love you
Good morning
I'm home safe
How are you?
How was work?
How did you sleep?
How was your day?
How was class?

You're the best
You're fantastic
You're beautiful
You're brilliant
You're my favorite
You make me happy
I'm lucky to have you
I want to kiss you
I want to cuddle you
I miss you
Have a good day
Have a good night

I'll be dreaming of you

9: What’s the most important part of a relationship?
Communication and trust are equally important; being able to tell each other feelings and what you do and don’t like or want, and being able to feel secure while your significant other is their own complete person.
16: Do you believe in “love at first sight”?
Nope, that’s called lust. Being attracted “at first sight” is falling for the cover of the book, not the content. Get to know the stranger across the room before deciding if it’s love.
18: What do you consider a deal breaker?
For a committed relationship, I would agree with interest, and I would add respect too. Respecting boundaries, feelings, personal tastes… Learn about and pay attention to your significant other, and recognize them as a complete and complex human being that may differ from yourself.
24: Do you think love can last forever?
Yes, I believe it can <3
25: Do you believe love can conquer all things?
I’m a bit confused on the phrasing of this… Generally, I don’t think so. Love is a powerful force, but as for “conquering all things”, I might say no.
29: What do you notice first about another person?
The amount of energy they exhibit, and I’ll most times end up mirroring that a bit. I notice the way people hold themselves, their facial expression, gestures, stuff like that.
33: Do you want to get married one day?
I’d love to <3
34: What do you think about getting your partner’s name tattooed?
Not that crazy about it? I could see it working out for some people, but something about name and portrait tattoos doesn’t appeal to me.
37: What’s more important: Looks or personality?
Personality. Beautiful people can be assholes, to put it simply. If you’re looking to connect with someone, I won’t say their appearance doesn’t matter; some people have different tastes that don’t appeal to others, and that’s fine. But personality is more important by a longshot, no contest there.
38: Do you enjoy love films?
Not in particular, but if there’s a plot that works with the relationship aspect, I guess I could get into it. (Les Miserables or The Princess Bride, for example)
41: What’s your imagination of a “perfect date”?
Hmmm… Many possibilities, but I think I’d enjoy most anything as long as I ws with you, my darling datemate. <3
44: Would you consider yourself “romantic”?
I’d like to be, and I try to be.
48: What’s your favorite love song?
Tough choice, but the first to come to my head was “Can’t Help Falling In Love”
58: Are you the “dominant” or the “submissive” part in a relationship?
Dominant, apparently.
64: Do you think Valentine’s Day is overrated?
I think it’s indeed very commercial and capitalist, but it’s a nice day to do something extra. Some people say that you should make every day a special day with your significant other; I think there are many opportunities to show love, but Valentine’s Day (along with many other holidays) is a nice little event to go the extra mile.
Thanks for the questions, @13daysuntilforever, Happy Valentine’s Day! I love you <3
Describe as best you can who or what Starlight means to you
Okay.
Simply put, Starlight is @13daysuntilforever, who I am dating. She’s sweet, pretty, determined, goofy, she makes me happy, and I love her very much.
But it’s more than that.
She’s the sort of person that you never want to leave; without her, a week feels like eternity, and weekends go by in a flash. Starlight is the one that I would give up my nights for just to text back and forth, because the night is long. Starlight is the person who I worry about the smallest of things happening to, because I want nothing less than the very best for her. Starlight is the person who is constantly on my mind, who I daydream about in the middle of class when I’m supposed to be paying attention. Starlight is the one I go 5+ miles over the speed limit to get to, and stay at the exact speed limit when driving her to her house or work, because even though I know I must part with her, I think, if I can hold out a few seconds more and stretch that time, that might be enough. Starlight is the person who makes me happy with her happiness; to make her happy brings me joy, to see her smile with pure joy is the best thing in the world. Starlight is the one who you want to take out on every kind of date, whether it be to the movies, a fancy restaurant dinner, wandering aimlessly around downtown, walking to the park and taking photos, breakfast at a cafe, or going somewhere only to turn around and go right back home for some dangerous things instead. Starlight is the one who causes you to curse the darkness in the dead of night because something’s gone wrong, because she’s unhappy or angry or afraid, and I curl up and wish I was better and could help, because she deserves better, she deserves nothing less than the very best, and instead here I sit, alone, so far away, and I can’t do anything. Starlight is the one I love, the one who I know is in my corner, and I’m in hers, and I’m not going anywhere. Starlight is the one I promise forever to, all of them, all of my heart, forever and beyond, if there is anything beyond. Starlight is the one I always want to touch, to love, to kiss, to sweetly hold. Starlight is everything to me.
I remember when she started calling me Sunshine, and I felt bad because I had no nickname for her. I remember walking home from work one winter night, and staring up at the stars, and she was the first thing that came to my mind. It was clear and cloudless, and I looked up and wished we could be seeing those stars together. She calls me Sunshine, but never thinks too much of herself; I see her as the stars, each one brighter and more powerful than our sun, but so far away that they don’t seem as radiant, but they are, and they all shine together in the blackest nights.
Starlight is spectacular and dazzling. She is a cosmic goddess, with stars freckling her skin, galaxies shining in her eyes, stardust woven in her hair, nuclear fusion powering her heart, which I hear when I lay my head on her chest, and the background hum of the universe dancing on her lips. Starlight is the spring, blooming and bursting with life and joy; she is the autumn, alive with color and crispness. Starlight is the air, dancing and dreaming and swirling about; she is fire, burning with passion and dedication and ferocity. Starlight is the music in my head, the warmth in my heart, and the smile on my face. She is a shelf full of books, she is a warm drink on a cold day, a blanket around my shoulders, and a warm summer breeze.
She is my beautiful and brilliant Starlight, and I love her very much.
(Sorry this was so long, hence being under the cut)
