BTS social media records

Ok, so the voting for the Billboard Awards  - Top social Artist begins today. We all know how much social media has been important for artists in the last few years. Many have been discovered through Youtube and Vine (Charlie Puth, Shawn Mendes, Troye Sivan ...).

Youtube views counts on Charts in many countries, which make it possible for people who doesn’t sell much to still rank on top of the charts.

Tweets with lots of likes and reblogs give visibility to artists - trending hashtags even more.

So to make it short, the more records you hold on social media, the more people will talk about you, invit you on their shows, interview you ....

Today I will mostly focus on Twitter and Youtube, those are the two worlwide platforms where the boys hold many records, Let’s get into it!

TWITTER

1. BTS official account here holds the biggest number of 1 Million+ liked tweets (62 tweets as of today - the Obamas have more but divided into 3 accounts POTUS, Barack and Michelle)

2. YOUTUBE

1. Top 200 Artists on Youtube : BTS was not ranked in 2013 and 2014. In 2015, BTS made its entry at #143, in 2016 with almost 1 billion views, they went up at #59, in 2017 with almost 2.5 billion views they entered the top twenty at #17, from January to May 2018 the boys are actually, with 1.3 billion views, ranked at #8.

2. Top 100 Most viewed videos in one day : BTS has 5 songs in the list (#9 DNA, #29 Mic Drop, #69 Daydream #72 Singularity, #96 Not today)

3. Top 100 Most viewed music videos by male groups : BTS has 2 songs in the list (#73 DNA, #90 Fire)

4. Top 100 Most liked videos overall : BTS has 2 songs in the list (#74 DNA, #89 Mic drop)

5. Top 10 Music videos with highest like percentage : 6 out of 10 videos are BTS’s (#1 Agust D “give it to me”, #3 21st century dance practice, #4 dance performance (Real WAR ver.), #5 Boy meets Evil, #7 I need U dance practice, #9 Boy in Luv dance practice)
