Legit gasped out loud, which I usually never do!!(The last time I did that was while watching Mindhunter earlier this year).

Such a great show, I’m in for a ride, I think. 😭

I’m pretty sure 2018 #1 is going to be a bloodbath between The Expanse and Westworld. But I seriously need new great shows, according to my math I can be down to half of these shows next year if nothing gets renewed.

I’m here for 2018 having too many good shows, let those be our problems. I’m wondering how ‘Altered Carbon’ will be, it’s on my radar, but I dunno. Here for The Expanse and Westworld slaying. I’ve given up on Vikings, so that’s down on my list.

Queen Sugar is going to be such a mess next season, especially because I don't see them letting Charley win everything easily.

Charley is never allowed to win easily or for long, the show really loves keeping the hits coming when it comes to her. It really annoys me, especially when it comes to the Landry’s and  Boudreaux’s. The show has always been a bit of a mess, but I feel like it’s just gonna keep getting messier. My friend is convinced they’re going for Nova/Remy and I just do not want.

I was hoping for some Seth Numrich staying on Homeland (it's trash but it keeps him on my screen) but it seems unlikely judging by the trailer? But Carrie on roaring rampage of revenge looks interesting. Plus scheming Linus Roache. And I heard they got James D'Arcy too. Ugh. I'm trash, I deserve it.

Oh, Linus Roache, I kinda miss him after Vikings. Hopefully Seth finds a different tv gig soon, I’d hate it if he just bounced off to Bway or something and wasn’t seen again. James D’Arcy too? Damn that show. Still not tempted to come back to it, I quit after S2 and am glad I did.

It was soooo creepy when Strike bought that dress for Robin, he's her boss! But everyone is like aww how cute I want them to bang. No.

Yeah, I wasn’t so bothered by it, because I’m fairly used to such gestures in fiction being swoon worthy and it’s a bit creepy but it could have been worse. I don’t ship them really, but I’m resigned to it happening, so I’m trying to just shrug and live with it. Honestly I hate how 99% of romances in fiction are written and could do without them.

I saw Depeche Mode with Warpaint as the opener last night. What a trip. So turns out I actually don’t know shit about DM. They played like 5-6 new songs..never heard them and then a bunch of songs I also did not know. Also, crazy Phoenix turned the fuck up for DM which is/was super shocking. Like just because Phoenix is kinda not cool. But there were around 15-18k(+?) people doing that damn thing. It was awesome, they sounded awesome. And they are definitely not a play the hits band (which I expected…or I fell off somewhere along the line and don’t know any of the later hits) but their fan base is very much on board with all the newer stuff. My friend, that I went with who has seen them 3 other times over the years, said this is the best they’ve ever sounded. The songs I did know were incredible to hear and see live. Kinda loved it. They also played some really cool videos on the big screens. The guy next to me was losing his mind with fun and was so happy jamming out so that was cool too. This was my first show at a big venue in a long time though and I definitely do not miss those, and in fact will make an effort to not ever go to another one. Just too much everything.

highlights: • Enjoy The Silence. Wow. • Seeing Warpaint live. I previously wasn’t too into their sound from what little I had checked out before but they sounded really great live. They played one song I just flat out didn’t like but the rest of the entire set sounded good to me. (Disclaimer- I have a hard time with female vocals in general so I have that bias )
