【2017年第6戦】レース総括【Grand Prix De Monaco】

ちょっと時間が空いてしまいましたが、モナコGPの総括を行いたいと思います。

モナコGPはフェラーリが1-2からスタートして1-2フィニッシュを果たし、16年ぶりの優勝となりました。順番こそ逆になりましたが、今のフェラーリの強さを示した形になりました。予選ではライコネンが久々のキレっぷりを示し、決勝ではベッテルが素晴らしいペースを発揮していましたね。コース特性などもあるのかもしれませんが、この強さが続くのであればチャンピオンも見えてきますね。

3位にはリカルドが入り、2戦連続表彰台となりました。スペインではトップ2には全く迫れない上位が脱落した末の3位でしたが、モナコではオーバーカットを見事成功させ、3位を掴み取りました。こちらも素晴らしいペースでしたね。SC明けにウォールにタッチしたのはかなりヒヤヒヤしましたが。

メルセデスは、特にハミルトンが苦しんでいましたね。予選でもクリアラップをなかなか決めきれず、最後には黄旗でQ2ノックアウトとなり、決勝も7位が精一杯でした。ボッタスもペースの悪さや後続に引っかかったことが災いし、表彰台を逃す結果に。ここ最近、市街地コース系での苦戦が目立つメルセデスですが、マシン特性によるものなのでしょうかね。

マクラーレンは揃ってQ3進出。バトンも久々の実戦でバンドーンに引けを取らないタイムを出して、腕が衰えていないことを示しました。決勝では、PU交換ペナルティが響き、最後尾を延々走らされ、最終的には痺れを切らしてヴェアラインに衝突してしまう結果となりました。ヴェアラインは無事だったようで、次のカナダGPも出走するとのことなので、この点は安心ですね。

【2017年第5戦】レース総括【Gran Premio De España Pirelli】

いよいよヨーロッパラウンドが開幕！アップデートも大量に持ち込まれ、モーターホームが建てられ、多くのVIPが訪れ、といよいよヨーロッパのF1が開幕という感じが致します。

さて優勝はハミルトンでした。ですが、ポールポジションから順位を落としてしまったので、やや苦戦を強いられるレースとなりましたね。ピット戦略などで逆転し、なんとかもぎ取ったという感じでした。こういうレースのほうが達成感はあるのでしょうか、非常に嬉しそうでしたね。

ベッテルはホールショットを奪ったのですが、取ったピット戦略が結果的にあまりいいものにはなりませんでしたね。ボッタスに頭抑えられたり、ハミルトンがギリギリVSC中にピットインしたのも痛かったところですね。ですが、フェラーリとメルセデスの勝利はほんの少しのところで入れ替わるものであるのが改めてわかりました。

3位はリカルドが入りましたが、トップ2は遥か彼方。4位以下が周回遅れというとんでもなくトップ2だけが速いというレースになりましたね…。まあ、ターン2でライコネンとフェルスタッペンが接触し、そのままリタイア、ボッタスもエンジントラブルでリタイアしてしまったことで余計に顕著になった感じでしたが。

アロンソは渾身の走りで予選7位を得ましたが、決勝はマッサに押し出され、ピットインのたびに前の車に引っかかるという不運で入賞ならず。ここからインディ500のレースウィークに入るので、とりあえずF1はおやすみとなりますが、いい気分でアメリカとはなりませんでしたね。ですが、予選もレースもそこそこ戦えていそうで、金曜日の最初のトラブルこそありましたが、信頼性も上がってきているようで、今後が楽しみになってきます。次モナコはバトンが出るということで個人的には楽しみです。

ヴェアラインはペナルティを受けつつ8位入賞を果たしましたね。ザウバーがポイントを得たことでマクラーレンはますます苦しくなってしまいそうですね。
