221BCon 2014 Obligatory Post

So the highlights of my con experience this year:

Meeting Amanda and Jenn for the first time (you two are presh and I adore you bbs never change)

Meeting Alex, who is not only a babe but also totally rad (later on we met up in the airport waiting for a plane to Philly and let me tell you ey are as well-educated and eloquent as ey are breathtakingly gorgeous)

Spending time with my lady <3

Also roomin' with my bros Ceb and Brynn and seeing them again after a whoLE YEAR

Meeting Mama Rose who is super great and going on adventures in their car with the gang (despite those vampire fangs being a 100% waste of time)

Taking walks and talking feelings with Rory, which was one of the chillest, most intimate, most liberating experiences I've ever had. Have I mentioned I am totally in love with my girlfriend? Allow me to reiterate that I am totally in love with my girlfriend.

I met this woman on the plane from Philly to Atlanta who wants me to illustrate a book for her in a few years??????

Meeting Emma, who is quite possibly one of the chillest people I have ever met in the absolute best possible way like wow congratulations on being incredibly cool

Going to a party where I knew absolutely no one just because I could -- and to steal bananas

NEW HAIR

Wow alcohol is actually amazing which I didn't know because I'm in college and am constantly surrounded by shitty booze

The costume contest was SO RAD THIS YEAR

guysyoudon'tevenknowwhatabigdealthatistome I am scared to death of this flawless creature because I can't talk to people I admire for fear of looking like an idiot but wow she is so nice and so talented and she frickin remembered me and had been wondering if I was going to come this year. 

Tobie's been such an inspiration to me and the fact that she has any idea who I am was one of those self-affirming moments I can hold onto for bad days. I just. I want to be friends with this marvelous human being.

Alas. I am only a clam.

Anyway, despite a few rocky points, it was a great trip, and I don't regret going. I'm already looking forward to next year.

One of my favorite things of the con was joking about dumb adorable AU ideas with friend faces. Best/worst idea ever: croc!sebastian, an AU where Sebastian Moran wears crocs. Same personality....but with crocs.
