my perspective final!
second image is to just show off the work i had to do but if anyone wants to know specific mechanics i'm happy to share :]
3-point Perspective assignment: Ruxiz Loi’s Living Quarters.
My finished, and final piece for perspective drawing! I was originally going to go with O14’s home, but with the lack of reference I opted to design a potential draft for Rui’s home, a repurposed rooftop gazebo-turned-loft in one of the districts yet to be rebuilt after The Red War.
Though initially he lived in Guardian quarters provided by the Vanguard, before his exile he’d abruptly moved locations after becoming unnerved and convinced he was being watched.
Suddenly realized I forgot to post this despite sitting on it for a whole year, but I think it's appropriate to post now.
Some art of my OC shiela. I have had this one cooking up in my mind for a while, so im really happy to finaly have it finished.
Some inspiration for anyone interested.
Music litsened to while making:
Like him: tyler the creator
Sign of the times: Harry styles
Jane: the long faces
Fallen Angel: king crimson.
I’m a survivor: reba mcentire
Some extra thoughts
Shiela is a very fascinating character for me. I feel so weirdly paternal about her to the point that this was one of the first drawings that physicly made me wince while drawing, just from her stress. Yet at the same time so much of her is a reflection of some of the stuff i dealt with when I was younger
I know, I know. Paternal love AND self trauma?eat your heart out frued.
I feel a clear shine of resenmemt in there. A feel of being too weak to help and kinda finding that unrealistic link between ones worth, and a distant parentalfigure. And being a tiefling is for sure part of that almost heritical self hatred. She feels inately excluded from alot, Especially with that motif of a burning building easily being seen as demonic.
I am truly happy with how this turned out, and as my first real 3 point perspective drawing I feel that I didnt do too shaby.
