Emergency Shelter:

21 day program (residential program) for runaway, homeless, or unstably housed youth. The ultimate goal is to return youth to parents within 21 days or otherwise into a stable housing situation. Services available to residents include:

...who are survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, and/or childhood sexual abuse.

Intake – for counseling call the number above to do a phone intake, then an office appointment will be scheduled.

Counseling and Case Management:

Trauma Therapy: individual and specialized group trauma therapy for adult, teenage and child victims of sexual assault and/or domestic violence as well as their families

Survivors of Sex-Trafficking Program: addresses the specific needs of domestic sex trafficking victims.

Therapeutic groups are available for elementary, middle and high school students.

Provides assistance with connecting to community resources, including referrals.

Help with public housing and benefit applications as needed

Drop-In Center:

For sexual assault survivors at N. Charles address; other times for human trafficking program. Call on case by case basis for more information.

Education and Training:

Self Defense Training: NOT CURRENTLY IN SESSION

Abuser Intervention Program: a primarily court-ordered program for domestic violence offenders that follows a national model.

Emergency Shelter:

Temporary emergency shelter (call intake) providing a safe environment for those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Basic needs will be addressed.

Nourishment: Meals provided to those in emergency shelter

Legal Aid:

Legal consultation on family law matters and representatives for protective order hearings.

Transitional Housing:

Long term (6 mos. to 2 years) housing and support services for victims of domestic violence and their families (generally women or women with children:call for case-by-case basis information).

Transportation:

Bus tokens provided on case-by-case basis through case managers

Youth Empowered Society/YES Drop-In Center (410.235.7744)

Hours: Mon, Tues, and Thurs 3pm-7:30pm; Wed from 11:30am-1:30pm; Fri by appointment

Available to:

Youth, who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness (anyone on the spectrum: not as determined by any definitions) between ages 14-25

Teen parents and pregnant teens welcome

Transgender individuals are welcome

  Health Care:

Health and mental health service providers visit weekly in order to ensure that the youth receive the professional support they need.
