Such an beautiful couple. Epic love story. So many iconic quotes and scenes. It’s beautiful how their relationship grows up through the seasons. At the beggining they’re enemies, then they became friends. Damon fell in love with Elena, while she was still with Stefan. Later she became a vampire and realized that she has feelings for Damon and in the finale of s4 she chooses him over Stefan. Their love was so strong that it won over: Stelena, the sire bond, everyone telling them not to be together, Elena without humanity, the doppelganger spell, Damon’s death, Elena’s memory loss and even Elena in coma. They always found way back to each other. In the finale they got the life they always wanted. Human life together.

We know that they got married and even that they have kids of their own. I really wish that Ian and Nina appeared in Legacies for at least one episode. ♥
