Completely ignoring his own pain, he falls to his knees at Sam’s feet. Sam is bound hand and feet to the heavy chair in the middle of the floor.

He’s unconscious, and his head hangs limply.

Dean carefully lifts Sam’s head and gasps. Sam’s beautiful face was ravaged with bruising and lacerations. He gently strokes his brother’s cheek, speaking softly. 

“It’s ok, Sammy. I’ve got you. Please - please be okay. I’m - I’m going to take care of you. I’ll make this all better. I promise.” He can’t help the half choked sob that comes out. Sam does not respond and Dean quickly takes out his knife, cutting his baby brother free.

John’s heavy boots clomp down the stairs just as Sam collapses in Dean’s arms.

Learning fun things about Paint. At this point it would be easier to just draw what I’m thinking of on a piece of paper, since the rotations are the generic 90/180/hori/verti kinds of rotations, rather than by degrees (among other complications)
