So I tried again using a white base and I think it turned out great. The thing I tried different (except the base color) was that I used less powder and rubbed the powder with a very light touch. Less pressure with same direction strokes worked much better. I used #yellowstopper over my base color and Used a waterbased Topcoat as well as a quick dry Topcoat. This pigment is finer than others I've tried before and works very well.
