Ted whined, shaking his head as he tried to back, away from Felix. He was shaking, looking up at his twin with his teary eyes. The other was basically just a blur to him.
“I’m fine, Felix! It’s just a scrape!”
He huffed. He… Honestly, simply didn’t like the stinging from the medicine used to clean his wounds. Though, he probably should’ve considered that before climbing one of the trees outside their home. Live and learn.
Ugh. Did Teddy really have to be such a baby over a little stinging on his wound? Felix scoffed, rolling his eyes as his brother continued to whine and cry. “ Oh, come on. I’m trying to help you, and this is how you repay me? Rejecting me and overexaggerated crying? ”
Felix pretended to move away to put all the disinfectant stuff back into the med kit beside him, feigning defeat.
——— “ Fine, fine... But don’t come crying to me again when your little scrape is infected, and worms get into your bloodstream, and makes your wound grow to the size of half your body, and then you die a slow, painful death-- All because you wouldn’t let me clean it for you. ” Maybe that lie was a smidge too over-the-top and cruel. But how else would he convince his brother; being kind and compassionate? No thanks.
