Entry #81: February 21st, 2020 (6:41am)
I have an early morning today. It's completely insane that people wake up at six in the morning. Then again, if that's what waking up at dawn is classified as in my CaptivePrince series, then I'm glad I get to experience it. It makes me feel like I have another connection with these characters.
Anyways, I wanted to make this entry because sometimes I wake up automatically like seconds or minutes before my alarm actually goes off. That happened today. However, until my alarm actually went off, for that brief moment, I didn't know who I was. I didn't realize it until the alarm actually sounded. I completely forgot everything and I had one thought in my head while o was a blank slate, laying there in bed. I can't remember what it is anymore, probably should have wrote this entry right when I woke up so I wouldn't for get it. But I remember that within that short set of moments, I was free. I didn't feel depressed or stresses or pain or sadness. I was just laying there, thinking something random. The worst part isn't that the alarm brought me back, but that I probably will never achieve that sort of consciousness where I felt no negative emotions or feelings.
You used to put me in a constant state of awe.
Entry #23: September 6th, 2018 (6:41am)
I am a failure. I always have been. I've always denied it it tried to fake that I'm not. But it always shows up. I'm still that kid in sixth grade who skipped all his early morning tutoring sessions with Mme. Martin. I'm still that kid in ninth grade who was humiliated by Mme. Vadori in front of my entire French class and instead of facing it I ran away and quit French immersion. I'm still that kid in high school who skipped a ton of classes without knowing the consequences and had to take two extra years in order to get into college. I'm still that dumb kid who still skipped classes all throughout college and didn't care about the consequences because he finally realised that he just wanted this life to be over. I'm just tired of disappointing everyone. I'm tired if being depressed all the damn time. I'm tired if being tired. I'm writing this at 7 in the morning for caring it loud.
