This party was so much fun.  Looking forward to trying another version.   I asked at the Safeway bakery for a yellow round cake (thinking I would add details myself) and told them about my party... they said they could help and the cake pictured was what I received.  Pacman’s food dots are white frosted cupcakes.  The spraypaint cupcakes are regular solid color frosted cupcakes on upside down cups with a printed spray paint label taped on. I used a  mini marshmallow as the spray tip.  Happened to have a cookie pen to make the black dot on marshmallows.  My actual hoarded collection of toys, games, music from the 80′s made a cool display that everyone reminisced about.  I googled (because I have a bad memory) snacks from the 80′s and found as many as I could for the buffet table.  Richard Simmons was on hand to remind us not to over do it.  The giant Rubik’s Cube was made by me using cardboard, poster papers and black duct tape.  I purchased the tape and poster papers from the dollar tree (prior to it being the 1.25 tree)  total cost was less than 10$.  I was able to slice the tape in a few spots so that I can store and reuse the cube for another 80′s night.  Can’t wait to host again.
