Violence Against Women in Brazil

THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF ECUADOR HAS 16 MILLION PEOPLE.

This was the number of women who suffered some type of violence in Brazil in 2018.

536 WOMEN WERE BEATEN WHILE YOU WERE HAVING LUNCH.

For an hour, this amount of women suffered punches, shoves or kicks.

IN 8 YEARS, THE GAMING MARKET IN BRAZIL, THE LARGEST IN LATIN AMERICA, GREW 600%.

Only in 2017, Virtual Harassment grew by 26,000%.

45 WOMEN WERE RAPED WHILE YOU WATCHED A CHAPTER OF A TV SHOW.

In Brazil, there are 822 to 1,370 rapes a day.

45% of Feminicides occur due to nonconformity of men with separation.

30% are caused by jealousy/possession/machism.

In 2016, 1 collective rape happened every 2 HOURS AND A HALF.

BY THE TIME YOU READ THIS POST, THREE WOMEN WERE BEATEN.

In 2017, 177 women were beaten every hour in Brazil.
