DOUBT PART
MC calls out Yuu-kun, and accuses him of abducting her.
Yuu-kun: I was the abductor? No way, no way!
MC: If you weren’t the one, then how come you said that when you came to save me?
What could Yuu-kun only know because he was the abductor?
A. The abduction time
B. The abduction place
C. What the abductor used
Answer: A
MC: When I sent out the SOS, I didn’t mention the time it happened, so how did you know it happened in the morning?
Yuu-kun: It’s just the feeling I had.
MC repeats the exact message she sent to him. Yuu-kun claims he read it and came here to find her and that he was lucky he knew about Aomi Container Terminal. However… MC points out this isn’t Aomi Container Terminal.
Yuu-kun: Why do you think that’s so?
What sound revealed to you that it’s not Aomi Container Terminal?
A. The sound of waves
B. The sound of planes
C. The sound of trains
Answer: C
MC: While I was held hostage in the car, I could hear trains going by. Yuu-kun, you previously said that trains don’t go by near Aomi Container Terminal, didn’t you?
Yuu-kun: Did I..? I came here because I thought it was Tokyo Bay, I guess I was wrong~
MC: Don’t play dumb! The fact that this is Sodegaura Port in Chiba, the one person who would know this is you!
Yuu-kun: Hm? This is Chiba? That’s the first I’ve heard.
MC: You know what today is, don’t you?
Yuu-kun: Of course, it’s Marine Day.
MC: On Marine Day at noon the ferries and boats at the port all sound their steam whistles together. You know of such an event, right?
Yuu-kun: I didn’t know about that. But, what about it?
MC: When I woke up around noon, I heard the steam whistles.
Yuu-kun: Maybe you heard them at Tokyo Bay then?
MC: Nope, the place you hear them is at only at the port in Chiba!
What's the evidence that shows that the ships sound their whistles at the Port in Chiba?
Cruise tour booklet
MC: In here it’s written, “On Marine Day there’s a differing event on.” Therefore, the only place you can hear the steam whistles is at Chiba Port!
Yuu-kun: Hmm I see.
MC: Yuu-kun, you brought me here didn’t you?
Yuu-kun: Like I said, I wasn’t the one who abducted you.
MC: In the car I was taken in, there’s evidence that you were in there.
Yuu-kun: Really? Then show me.
What’s the evidence that Yuu-kun was in the car MC was held captive in?
Credit card receipt
MC: Inside the car I found this credit card receipt, it shows the last four digits of the card, which exactly matches the card you gave me!
Yuu-kun: Th-that does look like it.. But credit cards have 16 digits, the last 4 digits being the same could just be coincidence.
MC: But this receipt is for a supermarket near our share house we often shop at?
Yuu-kun suddenly claps his hands together in front of his face in apology.
Yuu-kun: Sorry! The one who abducted you MC-chan… is me. I wanted to protect you from things even more dangerous so it became like this… I’m sorry for scaring you.
MC: I won’t be pulled in by your lies! Yuu-kun, you’re part of the Hong Kong mafia and also partaking in human trafficking, aren’t you?
Yuu-kun: What? I wouldn’t be part of something so disturbing.
MC: It’s useless to deflect anymore!
FINAL CHOICE
Show proof that Yuu-kun is involved in human trafficking
Student ID
MC: This student ID was in the car.
MC pulls out the News website homepage (the bottom half of it lists 3 people who have recently gone missing)
MC: This is one of the three people who have gone missing! The one who abducted these three people and sold them off is you, Yuu-kun. Isn’t it?
Yuu-kun: Yeah, so what?
MC is shocked by Yuu-kun’s cold expression, having never seen it before. Yuu-kun is lamenting failing a mission for the first time. Not only that, the one who got away is MC, a daughter of a yakuza leader. MC questions him on when exactly did he know she was the daughter of the leader of the Ryumon gang. He reveals it was ages ago, when right in front of him she dropped the special Ryumon gang memo paper.
To MC’s horror she remembers that this was back in the New Year (see liar 2). MC is appalled that he knew all this time but pretended he didn’t. He said it was confirmed for him once Okura moved in and that it was entertaining for him to watch MC-chan struggle so hard to protect her secret. MC further questions him, if he knew her secret all this time why did he only do all this now. He looks like he wants to explain, but in the end replies that it doesn’t matter at this point.
MC wants to know if all his smiles, his words, his actions were lies up to now. He confirms that they were. All he had to do was be a little bit kind to her, and he calls MC simple. He declares he hates the Japanese mafia from the bottom of his heart. MC exclaims that he is the worst and delivers a
*SLAP*
Yuu-kun hardly moves from the impact. He questions MC, if she knows the rules of a fight. He answers himself – that the one who starts it is at fault! Just as he is about to grab MC Okura steps in, calling Yuu-kun a mafia brat, and points a gun at Yuu-kun’s head. Yuu-kun praises Okura, since he couldn’t even feel his presence. Yuu-kun questions Okura on just who exactly he is, and just what horrible things did he commit in the past to get to where he is now. Okura lights a cigarette, simply replying that he is in the Ryumon gang and nothing more. Police sirens draw near and Yuu-kun confesses he would have loved to kidnap MC by force but looks like his time is up, and climbs up on top of one of the shipping containers. He mutters one last goodbye to MC-chan, telling her to live well and that they’ll likely never meet again and he disappears.
MC is back at the carpark, reflecting on Yuu-kun being part of the mafia. She can never forgive the things he has done but feels heavy in her heart. Ichimura-sensei insists MC should rest at a hospital and MC tries to refuse, but he stresses that he can’t stand to see her upset and never wants to see her so unhappy again. MC suspects that he feels responsible for what happened to her mother and is trying to look after her now. Okura informs MC they are heading off and pulls her by her hand. She finds the smell of smoke on him comforting. MC looks up at the plane in the sky, and really does feel that watching it makes her feel like she could go anywhere. She sheds tears, while hiding them from both Okura and Ichimura-sensei.
So...I started playing the 8th. Liar two days ago. There are only 3 other colleagues left. May, Kohei and Keisuke. I do like all of them so I didn’t really had a problem with them BUT Kohei...o.m.g the first time I saw him, he stole my heart. I knew he was Bae. I loved his looks and also his character. I did choose the right guy in the first Liar game as my favo, so I was pretty confident this time that Kohei has to be a good guy. Oh...how I went wrong.
But I kinda knew it. He had too much story time in the 8th. Episode, so that was a bit strange for me. Even tough I loved all the time with him...why does he have to be a creep?! ;___;
Why you deceive me after all this f****** time? I thought we were friends or something like that..how could you? Not cool...
My heart literally broke in pieces and I couldn’t do anything. I swear this game is so mind blowing. I never expected Liars to be such a cool game, even though my heart got broken and stomped on sooo many times.
I’m so ready for the End and I hope that we get some Lover Routes, like the ones we got in the first Liars game. That would be awesome..well thanks for reading this pointless Post :3

It’s midway through July and MC is on her way home. Since the day her mother passed, MC and her father have begun contacting each other more. When she returns home, Kazemiya-kun, Ami and Yuu-kun are in the living room.
MC notices their grim expression and Ami shows MC something on TalkTime.
Evidence gathered
News site screenshot
It’s a screenshot of a newspage, detailing the fight between Ryumon gang and Toranomon gang and how MC was the cause (not true). The top banner has a photo of MC and her father (eyes are blacked out though). Kazemiya-kun asks outright if MC is part of the yakuza, and Ami also remembers the words MC said when she slapped Ami after her lie. Yuu-kun gives MC a gentle pat on the back as if to reassure her “it’ll be alright.”
MC confesses that she is the daughter of the leader of the Ryumon gang, and that she is sorry for keeping it quiet all this time. The two of course, are understandably shocked. Yuu-kun defends MC, expressing that we cannot choose the circumstances we are born into. To him, the MC he knows is an ordinary woman who loves her work, and to sleep. The two of them aren’t convinced and Yuu-kun further points out that everyone has their own secret, and they all know the burden of having to keep one so that’s even more reason to understand. MC is amazed that Yuu-kun knows all the things she would have wanted to convey.
Karen comes in with a letter she just received from the postman outside. There is no name marked and she states it gives her a bad feeling. MC opens and reads it, Karen takes it next to also read it. The contents are “MC, we know you are the daughter of the Ryumon gang leader. If you value your life turn your father in at Tokyo Bay. Signed, Red Fortune.” Karen mutters it’s a worthless letter and nothing more than a prank, which Yuu-kun agrees with. MC says if it comes to it, she will move out as she doesn’t want to put anyone in danger.
Yuu-kun expresses that he cannot just leave MC alone, and Kazemiya-kun agrees, because MC has done nothing wrong so it is not right to have her life targeted. Ami agrees it is not necessary for MC to leave. MC is touched. Ami also asks Karen if she knew about MC’s secret and Karen is about to reveal the truth about herself, but MC interjects and explains that Karen knew but was still willing to be her friend (MC doesn’t feel that Karen needs to reveal her secret). Karen tells MC on the side that the Red Fortune gang recently have been moving in Tokyo, and they are the Hong Kong mafia. MC wants to consult with Okura, but she hasn’t seen him anywhere lately. She goes to sleep, feeling uneasy.
DOUBT 8 suspects
Ichimura-sensei
Yuu-kun
Okura
The next day MC sees Ichimura-sensei standing outside the hospital on her way in to work. He explains that orders from above are that she is to take a few days off work starting today. MC is surprised, and asks him if he knows about the letter. He has no idea what she is talking about. MC wonders why she needs to take time off and although he might not agree with the reasons, he does think MC should take a little rest. He has two tickets to an opera, gives her one and asks her to accompany him.
Evidence gathered
Opera ticket
She notices the ticket print date was 2 weeks ago and wondered if he prepared this in advance. She decides to go with him. MC sits in the passenger seat while he drives. She thanks him for treating her the same despite what he found out. He asks her to take a booklet out from the dashboard compartment. MC sees that it is a cruise trip that departs from Tokyo Bay, travelling to many countries. Ichimura-sensei explains that he has a tonne of leave saved up and that if MC could, would she like to join him on a cruising trip?
He elaborates it would be nice to go far and forget any troubles. He doesn’t need an answer right away so asks MC to keep the booklet and have a think.
Evidence gathered
Cruise tour booklet
There are a lot of people who have come to see the performance. Ichimura-sensei offers his arm out to MC and takes them to their seats. As he sits down, two handkerchiefs fall from his pocket. He picks them up and the performance starts.
After the show, MC thinks about how fun it was and how if she were to go out with Ichimura-sensei she would probably be going on adult like dates like this. He invites her out to a nearby sushi restaurant. She asks him if he likes sushi, and he answers that he likes seafood more than meat. Lately, he’s also been going fishing with a doctor friend. Sodegaura Port in Chiba prefecture is close to the train station, so it’s easy to get to so he likes going there. He finds it relaxing to fish, as planes heading for Haneda airport fly overhead.
He receives a call from the hospital, it’s an emergency and he needs to go. He apologises for not being able to send MC home and offers to have that dinner together next time. He tells her to go straight home to the share house, without stopping on the way. He also advises that if she feels someone following her, to run down narrow roads. Then he also asks if she knows the weak spots of people (where to aim for if you’re in danger) and she lists them. He recommends that in the off chance she is attacked, to aim for those points. He encourages her to call him if anything happens, and leaves.
MC has gotten off at the station closest to home, and walks with Ichimura-sensei’s words in mind. She feels someone behind her but sees no one. Again, she feels it and thinks someone is following her. She starts running for home.
No lights are on. She hears a smash! from the garden, as if the window glass had been broken. She sees a flicker and chases after them, forgetting her fear. She loses them in an alley way and hears footsteps behind her. The footsteps reach her, and she feels a hand on her shoulder and screams.
??: MC-chan, it’s me!
When she opens her eyes it’s Yuu-kun, who apologises for scaring her. He saw MC from the entrance way suddenly running off and followed her. Seeing him makes her relieved, and he comforts her and her shaking slowly subsides. Later, he is on the phone to Kazemiya-kun and explains the situation. Both him and Ami have returned home and nothing looks off inside the house. They’ve also contacted the police and Haruichi and Yuu-kun advised them both to stay over at a friend’s house for the time being. Since Karen is still at work, he left her a TalkTime message. He also sent a text to Okura. MC notes how calm and collected he’s being, and that she can rely on him.
He asks if MC has a place to stay but it’s hard to suddenly ask a friend. She considers going home to her family, but with recent events she doesn’t want to. He gathers she doesn’t have a place to go, so offers her to go along with him. He takes her hand and suggests eloping.
Yuu-kun takes her to the sky deck of Haneda airport, exclaiming how looking at the planes flying in the open sky gives him the feeling he could go anywhere. He points out a black plane to MC, thinking it looks cool. She wonders where it’s heading, and he answers that it is travelling in the direction of Kyushu. He elaborates from Tokyo it only departs from Haneda so they were lucky to see it(?). MC comments that he seems to know a lot on the subject and queries if he likes planes. He responds that he loves transport, like planes, trains and boats. Last time, he went to shoot (photography) at Tokyo Bay at Aomi Container Terminal and it was pretty amazing. It was near Haneda Port so he also heard planes flying.
He offers to take MC there next time. Since trains don’t stop there, they can take the car. MC reflects on the words he had said earlier to Kazemiya-kun and Ami. She explains he doesn’t have to answer if doesn’t want to, but asks him what the secret is that he’s carrying. He apologises, because he can’t tell her right now. They stay and look up at the sky for a little longer.
They decide to stay at a business hotel near the airport. He goes to book them in, and tasks MC with going to the convenience to buy some food and supplies. He hands her his credit card.
Evidence gathered
Yuu-kun’s credit card
She refutes, pointing out that she doesn’t need it but insists that he trusts her. He gives her the pin code. She’s glad he trusts her but doesn’t think it’s a good idea to give out his card so easily.
When she returns with the supplies, he looks a bit disheartened and admits they only had a double room left. When MC reacts, he confesses it was just a joke and reserved two single rooms. He laughs, but jokes that if MC gets lonely she is free to go over.
Lying in her bed, MC wants to send Yuu-kun a proper thank you message. She realises she forgot to return his card and resolves to do it tomorrow morning. She notices she has received a tonne of TalkTime messages – she had left her phone off since the opera show and hadn’t turned it back on. Okura had sent her many messages asking where she is. She replies and tells him she went to Haneda airport with Yuu-kun and is now staying at a business hotel. All her messages are left on read and she feels he’s quite angry.
To Yuu-kun, she thanks him for today and they wish each other goodnight. Ichimura-sensei had asked if she was alright, and she explains the share house situation. He offers her to stay at his place but she reassures she’s safe and thanks him. Karen had also texted, wishing MC to stay safe and if needed, she should run off with Okura. Lastly, a message from unknown threatens MC, for acting like someone normal when she is “the same as them” and someone “from the darkness.” She believes it is the same person who sent her the threatening note, and wonders how they know her contact number.
MC goes off to sleep but in the middle of the night hears a sound. She feels a presence, and from behind her a hand covers her mouth. A male voice tells her not to make any noise.
It’s Okura, who MC is surprised to see here.
He takes her to his car and drives off. She notices it is 1:40am, so he came straight after she texted him back. She asks how he got into her room, since she had definitely locked it. His response is that he has connections outside of the Ryumon gang too. MC declares she will take care of herself but he berates her, and warns that the Hong Kong mafia that are after her are different to the Japanese yakuza – those that have a value and serve a purpose can live, but those that don’t “disappear.” They have no dignity. He cautions MC that if she doesn’t want to die, to not act out on her own again.
He explains he will take her to her father’s place (though she doesn’t want to go) but starts driving off in a different direction. When MC points this out, Okura clarifies that arriving at this time would only wake up her father so he will drive around for a while and MC should go to sleep. MC feels that he understands her feelings about not wanting to go home and silently thanks him.
It’s daylight when MC awakens, still in Okura’s care. When she questions where he’s going, he replies “work.” In the end, he takes her to a festival with stalls, and she is wondering what they are doing there. One of the staff hands her a pamphlet.
Evidence gathered
Festival pamphlet
MC reads it, realising it is for “Marine Day” which is on July 15th. MC admires the xiao long bao which looks delicious, when her tummy starts to rumble. Okura comments that that’s so like her, and orders one. MC queries him when he learned Chinese, he answers that it’s Cantonese, and often used in Hong Kong. When she sees a couple walk by at the festival MC wishes too to be able to walk around on a date with the person she loves. As she’s thinking, a red object suddenly appears in her eyeline. Okura has bought her a candy apple, remembering that she likes them. She retorts that it was when she was young, and she imagines he will respond with “but you’re still a kid” but instead he simply replies “that’s true.” She asks why he didn’t say she was a kid, and his response is “is that what you wanted?” haha.
MC speaks out loud that she doesn’t think he sees her as a woman. He replies “you are.” MC’s heart flutters.
MC receives a TalkTime message from both Ichimura-sensei and Yuu-kun. Yuu-kun had invited MC down for breakfast but when she hadn’t replied he asked where she was, as he was worried. MC explains that a lot happened and she’s gone elsewhere for now and apologises for not letting him know. Ichimura-sensei also is worried, and wants to know where MC is. She gives a similar reply. He also asks if she will go on the cruise with her, and that he will take responsibility and protect her. MC doesn’t want to cause any trouble for him, and asks for more time to think it through.
Now at the main house, MC goes to seek out her father, whose condition is not improving. Okura wonders aloud if it wouldn’t be better if MC’s father retired soon. As the gang are making plans for their next move, MC warns Okura to not die. Okura declares that no matter what happens, he alone will surely not die. MC is baffled, because he is only human and doesn’t understand his confidence.
MC meets with her father, and explains to him that she has come to accept that she is the daughter of a yakuza and is part of this world too, but hates that it only seems to be causing trouble for those around her. His response is men willingly choose to protect women, so it’s fine if MC willingly accepts to be protected. If she stays in this house, he will die in order to protect MC. MC is worried for him but he thinks that is a more befitting way to die than just lying on his futon lol. He proclaims that if anything happens to him then Okura will definitely come to save the day, as he is someone he can trust from the bottom of his heart.
MC is finding it difficult so goes to watch the moon, and Okura appears. He observes MC can’t sleep, and for some reason slides his credit card across the ground to her.
Evidence gathered
Okura’s credit card
He utters in this world, you at least need money. She should take it just in case, and he gives her the pin code for it. Amongst other things, MC wants to confirm if carrying guns is forbidden in the Ryumon gang, to which Okura refutes isn’t the case and hands MC one, and teaches her how to use it.
MC reminds him she is a nurse who saves lives and she cannot accept using something that needlessly takes away lives. He sighs and voices she should at least use it to protect (her) life. One of the underlings runs in shouting that some of the gang members have been attacked in a raid. The attackers are Red Fortune, who were intending to sell off MC in Hong Kong. MC’s father appears and will go to deal with it(?) and advises MC to get some rest and not to worry.
The next morning MC is thinking over recent events while staring into the garden. She sees a fleeting shadow and worries that the person who tried to break into the share house is back, and here now after her. She dashes out of the house and runs after where she thinks they’ve gone but when she takes another step, someone grabs her and covers her mouth with a cloth. When she tries to turn around she loses consciousness.
When she comes to, she’s in a car and her head is pounding. She finds her knee had been scraped and is bleeding, and that her hands and feet are tied. When she looks out the curtains that block the window she thinks she can see container ships, and she can also see vapour trails from planes in the sky. She sees a black plane too. Listening carefully, she hears the sound of waves, in the distance the sound of planes, and nearby the sound of a train. Lastly, she hears a continuous steam whistle of a boat which lasts about 30 seconds. There’s no doubt in her mind, this is a port.
MC deduces that if that’s the plane that only departs and lands at Haneda airport and she can see a port, then this must be Tokyo Bay. She finds her phone on the ground, thinking the culprit must be quite panicked if they forgot to take it. She also looks around the inside of the car.

With MC’s hands still tied, it’s hard to type out a message but she sends the same message (copy pasted) to Ichimura-sensei, Yuu-kun and Okura. The message is time stamped 12:02 and reads “help, I’ve been taken, probably Tokyo Bay” and “drugged and lost consciousness near home.” Shortly after sending the messages she hears footsteps from outside so tosses her phone aside, curls up and pretends to be asleep. She inwardly begs them not to come. However, they open the door and press a cloth to her mouth, and once again she loses consciousness…
MC awakes to the sound of gunfire. The door opens, and it is Okura holding a gun, who checks that there’s no one else in the car. He checks MC is conscious and apologises for being late. He takes off the tape stick to MC’s mouth. MC hears police sirens and Yuu-kun also shows up as well as Ichimura-sensei.
Ichimura-sensei asks MC to hold still, as he cuts off the rope binding her with a small knife. Looking closely, he also has blood on his clothes. When she asks why he has that, he replies it’s used for when he goes fishing. All three were concerned MC was going to be human trafficked by the Hong Kong mafia. When she asks what happens to the victims, Okura answers they are either sold to creeps, their organs are harvested, etc.
Yuu-kun pats MC’s back to comfort her and comments that he got worried when he couldn’t contact her. She apologises, he responds by saying he understands she’s gone through a big ordeal and that to be abducted so early in the morning close to her family home is such a surprise. Ichimura-sensei chimes in, that the offender must be a sort of pro to be using chloroform.
Ichimura-sensei suggests getting MC checked at the hospital, Yuu-kun also wants to accompany them because he’s worried. Okura tells MC to get in his car. MC however, asks to be alone for a while. She doesn’t understand why she was suddenly targeted by the Hong Kong mafia when she didn’t have any ties with them. She deduces that someone close to her knows her relationship with the Ryumon gang, and that they are tied to the mafia. Also, after she sent out the three SOS messages, she was chloroformed again. This leaves three suspects. Thinking back to the events, she released one person has spoken and acted odd and is part of the Hong Kong mafia. She’s angry that they pretended to be worried for her but actually, they were trying to sell her off. She calls back to that one person to face them head on.

I find it so hilarious that players are losing theirselves over the 8th liar and start speculating who's the 9th liar and pray that it's not their favourite character. I wonder why is the 8th liar so popular along with the 6th. I personally prefer the 4th and 7th, though I have to admit that the 6th has a great personality.
Well I mean isn’t it natural to want your favourite to reach the end? The 4th didn’t stand out that much to me but I did like the 7th
