regret nothing
I sometimes do not know what to do. We all do I suppose. From the very beginning as a child to our deaths we know not some things. We make mistakes. What defines you however, is what you do with those blunders. Do you, like me, sit back and downright quit or find out why you did it and how you don't do it again? I don't wanna sound like some stupid Ted-Talk guy so I don't wanna bore you with this nonsense. Be okay with yourself. It's okay to make mistakes when you are oblivious to everything. Regret nothing.
This probably where i put my chaotic thoughts
Sites Gone By
Man, I hurt a little when I stop to think of all the neat sites I used to frequent that have fallen by the wayside - when their creators got too busy when someone else copied them and changed a few things and took over, or whatever else. I ran into BBSpot earlier today and realized I’d totally forgotten about it...not updated since 2011. As the Apple Turns was my favorite thing back in the day, and is totally offline. I made a quick list of ones that came to mind:
As the Apple Turns
Crazy Apple Rumors
Homestar Runner
Ebaum’s World
BBSpot
Cracked.com (still hanging in there, and still much better than buzzfeed, which took over listicles, IMHO)
Even stuff like AOL instant messenger!
Foxtrot isn’t daily anymore, either.
Some of these used to be massively popular just a few years ago (or what seems like it...I guess 2003 is more than a decade ago...). I know this is just part of aging that we have to learn to deal with. But, at this rate, I think our generation is building memories - and associated nostalgia - faster than any generation before.
PS I know that I’m behind on my weekly and monthly status reports. I’ll get on them...I hope...
