You think I'm dense? Which one of us lost the boar last time, second?" They turned and continued further into the jungle, following the tracks left behind by the deer they were currently hunting. "Can't believe Pan put you in charge. Always subject to your...everything." She continued grumbling under her breath as she walked away, not concerned about if he would follow.

Felix trailed a step behind Teddy, his limp still faint but present, a reminder of the wound he’d taken in the last skirmish. He had lost the boar then, but he wasn’t one to use excuses, not in front of Teddy, not ever.

Felix called after her, "You know, if I could walk faster, I'd probably catch more boars than you. But keep talking, Teddy, maybe your voice will scare the deer right to us."

He added with a crooked grin, "And for the record, being Pan's second just means I've got twice as much sense as most people here. Including you."
