I thought it was really funny how Ema hated Klavier for seemingly no reason, but I think I had a realization. Imagine you’re a seventeen year old girl and the only family you have left is framed for murder. With the help of a kind defense attorney, she’s proven innocent, but it’s one of the most horrific cases of the attorney’s career and your sis doesn’t even go free. But throughout all of it, the kind defense attorney protects you. After the trial, he comforts you. He and the prosecutor of the case both stay in contact with you and help you grow. And then some newbie gets him on forgery and he’s disbarred. But he’s not a forger, if he were, your sis wouldn’t be in jail, and he’s still your friend, but now he’s got a daughter, and no job, and he hasn’t slept in weeks. And then you finally get your dream job, only for it to be ruined by the guy who got your hero disbarred, smiling like a fool as if he didn’t ruin a mans life. Wouldn’t you hate him?

I think Nahyuta is typically very nice to wait staff, -they are canonically very nice to people who aren't defendants and/or defense attorneys- but this is Ema.
