It wasn’t so much shopping that was a problem for him than practically inventing a gift on the spot. He worked, jollier than ever, to put piece-by-piece something that would protect his friend. A few deft fingers, a skilled eye and some broad expertise later, a void-resistant insect swatter and the best of it. With its firing accuracy and blasting power, the robots won’t ever be a bother again. 

“Happy yuletide, Loki!”

Rushing behind the counter, O.B. fetched two plastic cups and the bottle of champagne gifted to him. There wasn’t much he could get a god and the god of stories at that, but more than anything, he thought Loki might appreciate one thing: companionship. 

“Can I get you a drink?”

Not being so omniscient, Loki couldn't know O.B.'s thoughts, but they were absolutely correct. He was delighted by the void blaster, but the best part of this was getting to spend a little time with a friend before he inevitably had to go back and enact some roboticide.
