Nancy Wheeler x Reader
This was an ask but since it had nothing else in it in decided to switch the story up a bit hope you all like it~!
For the past few weeks, it has been freezing in Hawkins and the one day you are actually planning to do something is when it is the coldest and it just happened to snow the night before so you just opted to stay in and study for the end term exams sure they weren’t for coming for a good while, but it never hurt to be prepared as your girlfriend always said.
Nancy called you right when you were about to head to pick up another textbook from your desk
“Hey sweetheart how are you?”
“Oh, you know me just. Studying”
Nancy giggles and it makes you blush Nancy has always had that effect on you with the trivial things that she does even if it is hugging you, or just playing with your hair she always made you blush or flustered
“So, sweetie what do you think?”
You snap back into reality
“Hm?”
You can practically hear Nancy’s smile get a bit bigger she knew you had the tendency to space out, but it never bothered her in fact she found it adorable and cute that was just one of the many things she loved about you.
She giggled
“You didn’t hear, did you sweetheart?”
“mm..no I’m sorry..”
“Awe no sweetie do not be sorry, it’s okay to space out but I said if you wanted to come over tomorrow I have to watch Holly since she feels ill, but…we can have fun tomorrow! I promise”
You thought about it for a moment you always wanted that sappy moment in the snow you always saw some rom coms about it, and you always wanted to feel that with someone and now that you had it you wanted to do everything you ever dreamed of and you knew that Nancy would be right by your side but on the other hand, Holly. You loved she described her siblings, they sounded like so much fun, but you do not know how your first impression would be like, but you decided to go anyway and push the nervous feelings away.
“Having fun with that munchkin? Of course! Besides, I need to see my favorite girlfriend~”
Nancy laughs
“I’m your only girlfriend (Y/N)”
“Exactly, that’s why you’re my favorite, Angel”
The next day you were practically beaming when you arrived at Nancy’s house you knocked on the door expecting your beautiful girlfriend to answer but all you saw was a little girl.
Holly.
“HOLLY WHO’S AT THE DOOR?!”
“I DON’T KNOW ITS SOMEONE!”
You heard Nancy’s footsteps
“Oh, hello how can I help you?”
Nancy said in a fancy voice that made you laugh
“Very funny Nance” you kissed her cheek you looked down to see Holly hiding Nancy, Nancy follows your vison and smiles
“Holly hunny, come on out its okay they won’t hurt you I promise”
You smile at Holly and wave
“Hi Holly. I’m (Y/N), I hope we can be good friends..”
Holly comes out a little behind Nancy but still continues to hide your smile faulters a bit you wanted to make a good impression, but the girl is scared of you Nancy saw the cogs turning in your head and she knew you were overthinking it
“Hey, don’t worry about it okay? She’s just shy that’s all she just needs to warm up to you”
You nodded and smiled and went inside Nancy went into the kitchen to go fix some hot cocoa for the three of you.
“Hey sweetheart can you watch Holly while I go fix the drinks?”
“Mhm sure!”
Holly just turned and watch Nancy leave and looked back at you not knowing what to say so she just continued to play with her light bright
“So, Holly was it?”
She nodded without looking at you
“I like your toy…it looks fun”
“Yeah…it is”
You tensed up not knowing what to do you remember that you bought some skittles on your way here and wondered if the kid wanted some
“Hey Holly, you like candy right?”
She turned to look at you
“What type of candy..?”
You held up the bag of skittles
“Want some?”
She smiled and walked over to you and shared the bag of skittles with you and that’s when she started to open up to you she would just laugh at your jokes, and she would tell all the things Nancy does when you’re not around. When Nancy came back she just saw you playing with Holly she smiled and loved that you got along with her maybe you’re interaction with mike would go this smoothly too.
“Nancy!” Holly ran up to her
“Can we go play in the snow with (Y/N)?”
Nancy looked up at you and just smiled
“If it’s okay with them”
Holly turned to look at you expectingly you smiled and walked over to her and lifted her up
“Go put on your coat and jacket Munchkin”
She jumped out of your arms which you weren’t expecting, and you tumbled back a bit while you stabled yourself Nancy handed you a cup of cocoa
“H-How?”
“Skittles…Works every time” you shrug while smirking
“Your too much” She laughs and kisses your cheek
After a while Holly comes back and pulls you outside and just has a ball with you, you have a snowball fight, build snowmen, ETC after a while Holly gets sleepy so she goes up to you and just reaches her hands up you pick her up and she just lays her head on your shoulder you all go inside you and Nance tuck her into bed and then you two just go into Nancy’s room you immediately run to her closet
“AW (Y/N) AGAIN??”
“Yes again ’can’t help it Angel you know I love your clothes”
She smiles as you throw on one of her sweaters she loves when you take her clothes though sometimes she needs something she doesn’t get mad because she loves seeing you wear her stuff it’s a way where you tell people that your hers in a discreet way you just love wearing her clothes because whenever you two can’t see each other you always have her hoodie, and she has yours. Nancy walks over to the bed which your already tucked into and just cuddles up with you and kisses you softly
“I love so much sweetheart”
“Love you too Angel”
Snow days with Nancy were going to be fun now that you had Holly on your side but what about her brother..?
