Hello I am finally getting to some asks thank you!!

1. How would they define love if asked?

Love is the most dangerous emotion. It is all encompassing. All consuming. It's all or nothing, it devours you whole. It will destroy you, and must be purged to survive.

16. Do they idolize anyone, if so why is that? The closest thing would be Nels, whom Eldwin sees as sort of a paragon of strength, while also being fair. Also if gods count, Saint Aconis, who was killed and ascended to divinity after bravely defending her village alone, and is revered as a protector of youth and innocence. Unfortunately, that idolisation is more in the past and not someone he actively models himself after

There was another childhood idol in the form of a legendary sorcerer who hunted traitors, including warlocks, after the war and burned them alive...

🎄What’s their favourite holiday?

Eldwin doesn't celebrate many holidays these days. His favourite growing up was always the winter merriment festival, a week long celebration that's similar to Christmas. Now he just misses his family at that time of year.

There is, however, an autumn holiday I haven't yet named, dedicated to a warrior god, and it involves a lot of feasting, battle, and, most importantly, drinking. There are both challenges for fighting and for drinking. Eating too, but Eldwin doesn't care about that one.

😕What’s their biggest regret?

Going with Lady Dovemore in the first place. He didn't really believe the things she was promising, he had a bad feeling, but knew he would die otherwise so... may as well take the chance. Now though, he wishes he had just died on the streets instead.

Or... going home after making the pact. He doesn't know why he did - perhaps he just wanted to see it one last time, maybe try and grab some stuff. But it would have been wiser not to, let him and them cling onto the last good memories they shared. Yes, I think that's a big regret of his.

🧠Are they more likely to follow their head or their heart?

Tough one. Usually his head I think. He certainly tries. But it might change depending on circumstances.

Now, I saw The Lighthouse Mystery is one of your favorites of the Boxcar Children books. Is it your Favorite favorite or is there another one that tops that?

hiii ty for the ask! of the original ones it was definitely my favorite, but i remember there was also like a more modern run of them (written by a different author i presume), and there was one about cupcakes. it was creatively called "the cupcake mystery" or something similar, and it was about a baking competition. i've loved baking my whole life so i really liked this one and reread it all the time :) so the "the lighthouse mystery" is tied for top two i would say!

Okay, technically not an Unmade specific ask, but adjacent! When you finish Unmade, what's the next planned story you're thinking of?

(Maybe asking because wondering if there'll be a Vienna re-capture arc, maybe not 😜🤭)

Unmade is gonna go on for a whileeee and i don't intend to rush it, BUT I also have my story/oc universe of The Last Flame that's kind summarized in my pin! I've had a lot of characters from there in my head for years (not too fleshed out) and after I joined whumpblr I basically just amassed a bunch of tropes I liked and kept throwing them at those characters 😂 Would definitely be fun to explore more and write

Well the last chapter had that whole section about Vienna repeating to herself that she's meant for/made for abuse 😭 But I think another one would be being part of something that doesn't value human connection. Like so many choices she makes in terms of who she spends times with, what she studies, what hobbies she has, is about connecting with others and having community. So doing something like working in an isolated cubicle or working virtually would not fill her cup as they say

For Zander, this would be the big "whys" of the universe that he ultimately needs to accept he cannot answer. Why did his little sister have to get cancer? Why did Vienna have to be taken? Is there a grand purpose to it all, or is just happenstance? He really struggles with those questions for quite a while

What is your OC’s strongest childhood memory? Why and how as that impacted him/her?

For Vienna!

oooh I had to really think about this one!! There's two: I think Vienna was super molded by her close relationship with her parents and extended family. Like I imagine a cozy holiday or beach trip with them that just fills her up with feelings of love and safety 🥹 and that gives her a great foundation as well as the desire to have her own large family/community one day

ALSO I mentioned in the family lore post that her parents had a stillborn baby boy before she was born and i think that had a big impact on her whole family. like on one hand she feels very treasured by her parents and tries to just live life to the fullest but on the other there's a certain pressure to be everythingggg for them because he couldn't
