Ace in The Hole || Nico and Austin
It has been one week since Nico officially became apart of the Shadow Triad and there hasn't been any word from Zinzolin and any missions. Nico, waiting anxiously for the time of his mission, had finally come. The Shadow Triad had been keeping an eye on many skilled trainers and one trainer definitely caught their eye. He was an ace trainer named Austin Kobayashi, Austin Kobayashi is a very arrogant guy and the Shadow Triad thought that they can use that in their advantage.
Zinzolin approached Nico and explained that his first mission was to follow Austin and attack him in order for Zinzolin to test Nico of his worthiness towards the Shadow Triad. Nico accepted this mission without hesitation, he waited until the break of dawn to start his mission. 10PM and Nico discovered the whereabouts of Austin Kobayashi.
Nico, Shadow, and Shade stood on top of the largest building Lacunosa Town observing every move Austin made, Nico was waiting for the perfect time to attack...
Flashing Lights [Ayako + Austin]
Never in all her travels had Ayako seen a city that was so...brilliant. Neon seemed to cover every inch of many a building, causing the Kimono Girl to rub her eyes with a soft 'ah'. Perhaps this was why she had heard Nimbasa referred to as the "shining city where lightning sparkles". That and maybe the fact that they had an electric-themed gym. For the first time in her travels, Ayako felt distinctly uncomfortable in her traditional dress. She was completely out of place in this city. The city that seemed to set any and all trends in Unova. Chewing her lower lip as she was pointed to, Ayako bowed the the onlookers and headed for somewhere a bit quieter.
With Glaceon and Lilligant safely stored at the hotel she had chosen, Ayako was left her with Ninetales. The only real question was where she should go. Looking around herself, Ayako's eyes lit upon an impressive ferris wheel. She'd never ridden one before and from the looks of the city itself, the area surrounding it would be fairly empty. She was, indeed, correct. Rather than leap at the chance to ride one, the young woman instead released her Ninetales from it's pokeball and knelt to pat her head. If she hadn't been surrounded by all those neon lights, it might have made for a scene straight from the legends of Ecruteak - a young kimono-clad girl and a Ninetales. For whatever reason, Ayako stalled.
Alright, perhaps she was a little scared of the ferris wheel.
Despite the darkness of evening, she could see others climb into their chosen compartments. Still, the trainer sat on a metal bench and slowly stroked the fur of her Ninetales in thought. It wouldn't be so bad, would it? It was surely safe. "Better not." The young woman murmured the words with a small smile aimed at her Ninetales. "I don't think it would be very proper. We're getting strange looks as it is..." Her Ninetales, in reply, butted her head against her trainer's hand.
[ meeting the ace ]
How could Mei be this stupid? Honestly, it was common sense that had somehow passed her by. How on earth did she manage to leave the last town and get right to the halfway point before realizing she had no potions and her pokemon were all fairly worn from training. So hopefully, there was another trainer with some sort of supplies though Mei didn't have any.
After an hour or two of searching and running/hiding from wild pokemon to spare her own, Mei spotted a head of blue hair a little ways off. Breathing out a sigh of relief, she hightailed her way over, finally reaching him a little out of breath, but there nonetheless.
"Hello," she panted out after a moment, "Sorry to bother you, but could you spare a potion or two? I got all the way out here with no form of medicine, and my pokemon are all in pretty shambly condition." she explained, catching her breath.
