NEW! Adam Driver in France Last at Mamo credit to Mamo on FB
Personally if my husband responded to the question
"How do you take care of your soul?"
Like this?? I'd simply die on the spot
Hes such a lover boy wdym???
So, I've worked on this portrait of Adam Driver for over a month. It's acrylic paint on canvas. I've not had the confidence to work a canvas in 10 years. Not one hit on Twitter, not hardly a blip on the radar on Instagram.
I think I'm failing as an artist and as a human being.
Spent the last few months questioning my worth, severely depressed, and wondering if anything good is ever going to happen to me again.
Maybe this is my magnum opus piece? My swan song? Going away present? I can't decide at this point. 🥹😅
Regardless, I present to the internet world an acrylic portrait of Adam Driver on canvas entitled, "Fortunate Son." 🙏

The idea that Adam Driver could have leaked The Hunt for Ben Solo intentionally so the fans would riot is killing me. All these years. He's been fighting for justice for his character. For us. He's such a caring professional he wouldn't let anyone else even do the stunts for Ben Solo because he was protective of the way he carried himself. And now Adam is trying to get him revived so he can have an ending that truly fits the character and story. And Disney shot it down in cold blood because they were afraid of what? Change? The unknown? Losing control? Losing money? They had no reason to say no. The story was right there. They had it in front of them. The amount that movie would bring in would put the sequel trilogy to monetary shame. And they blew it off like it was a fly buzzing around their plate.
We knew Adam liked Ben. We knew he was a Reylo. What we didn't know was that he loved Ben enough to go to the lengths of writing a whole script to get him the justice he deserves. (Side note, I feel like we should have known this. Thinking about it now, that is the sort of thing he would do. Why we were all surprised by it anyway?)
I will be mad about this until Bob and the other guy fix their egregious error in rejecting this script. And we know it would have been good because Adam himself helped write it and supported it and proposed it to them. Why couldn't they trust him too?
Just the idea that he thought "if I can't do this, maybe the fans can". He pretends not to care. He doesn't really look at what we're saying much. But, he knows we care. And he cares too. And he cares that we care. I wonder if he would have written the script if we hadn't cared as much.
So I just watched The Dead Don't Die, with our boi Adam Driver, and in the scenes where his character's wielding a machete, it was VERY obvious he was using some of his lightsaber training.
Also the movie is so tropey and silly, I half expected him to pull out his lightsaber. I mean, they WERE breaking the fourth wall a bit...
ALSO HE HAD A STAR DESTROYER KEYCHAIN. REFERENCE SPOTTED.
Also, there was this exchange:
My brother: Is that Kylo Ren?
Me: I believe you mean Ben Solo?
The movie was ‘meh’, but Adam was ‘🫠’
