"Hello all" Jim said as the door opened "Jackie you look nice"

"Thanks jim" Jackie nervously asked "is there something you need?"

"Oh yes! My niece is coming over and well I know her very well"

"And that's our problem how?" Adam butted in

"I was wondering if we could have dinner here?" Jim shifted still smiling creeply at Jackie

"I uh, I guess yeah, tonight" Jackie stumbled over her words

"Mmmm perfect, I will be back with her in, about an hour"

Jackie smiled and closed the door, when she turned around the three boys plus their grandmother had looked at her in disapproval "what was I meant to do?"

"Say no" jonny said walking away

"She's probably just as creepy as Jim" Adam said following behind jonny

"Oh boys stop" Jackie said

"UGH it's been an hour where the bloody hell are they" Martin leaned back in his chair

"Can we just start?" Adam said

"Excited to see your future wife?" Jonny said kissing and feeling the air up

"Shut it" Adam said pushing him off the chair

Then the bell rang, they smiled at each other and ran to the door

"Hello, All" Jim yelled. He was wearing a weird green tux and a yarmulke which he of course cut out of the tux. Next to him stood a girl, she was short with shoulder length hair, she was on her phone yelling at someone.

"Your a fucking tit, you know that?" She said and hung up, "sorry about that" she said smiling, the smiling stopped when her eyes met with jonny, embarrassment took over both of then, and of course Adam noticed.

"Well hello! Come on in" Jack said pushing her way between the boys.

They all sat in the dining room waiting for Jackie to come back "pissface would you help me with something upstairs?" Adam said interrupting the silence

"No," jonny laughed

"Yes," Adam grabbed jonnys arm and went upstairs

"Who is that?"

"Jim's niece?" Jonny nervously laughed

"What was the look for?" Adam pushed Jonny back a bit

"Fine, don't tell mum, but I may know her from the pub, we had a late-night chat"

"Oh my God you hooked up with her didn't you!"

"Shut up pusface" Jonny said

"What are you boys doing up here?" Jackie said walking into Adam's room

"Jonny had sex with Jim's niece" Adam said

"What?" Jackie looked panicked, you was in shock

"Listen we were both drunk and needed someone to talk to"

"Does she remember you?" Jackie asked

"I don't know-"

"She does" Adam butted in

"We have to go back down there and you better not make a fool out of us," Jackie said pushing the boys out of the room and back downstairs.

"I made us all some chicken soup" Jackie said placing it on the table

"I love chicken soup, thank you" y/n said grabbing a bowl of it

"So do I," Jonny said reaching over to grab some, earning some strange looks

Y/n nervously laughed and sat back down in her chair, her and jonny continued to make awkward eye contact throughout the night

"I'm going to grab more vegetables," Jonny said standing up

"I'll help" y/n said smiling

They both entered the kitchen and she closed the door and turned to see Jonny standing close to her "hi" she manged to get out

"Hey," Jonny said, they stared at each other and slowly started to fill in the gap.

Then Adam ruined it

"Hey piss face," he said opening the door, grabbing the beef from the oven, and turned around, only then realizing the two were about kiss.

"Did I ruin something? Don't mind me, pretend I'm not even here" Adam said sitting down

"Get out" Jonny yelled

"Fine, fine" Adam said leaving

"He's gonna put salt in my drink" Jonny said

"What?" Y/n asked

"Nothing, look, I'm so sorry for leaving you the other night, I got scared and-"

He was cut off by a pair of lips on him "shut up"

"Since when did you have a female?" Martin said walking into the kitchen

"Jesus dad!" Jonny yelled walking out of the room

Characters: Adam, Johnny, Martin, Jackie

Description: Adam wants to marry Y/N so he goes to his dad and his brother for some advice.

Adam sat on the couch in his mum and dads front room, twiddling the small, black box in his hands. He wanted to marry you with everything in his heart but he wanted to make asking you extra special but he had no idea where to start, which is why he was at his parents house, asking his father and brother for help. 

“Alright, Pussface.” Johnny walked through the door and patted his brother on the head, earning a hateful stare from Adam. “Hello, bambino.” Martin sat on the couch across from his two sons, messing about with yet another household item.

"What on earth are you doing with that?" Adam screwed up his features to try and at least think of what his father could be up to. "Adam, we could ask you the same question." Johnny nodded down towards the box in Adams hands.

Martin leaned forward in curiosity. "Well, spit it out." Adam closed his eyes as he felt his face begin to redden. "It's a-its a ring. I'm going to ask Y/N to marry me." He slowly opened his eyes and looked around the room.

Both Martin and Johnny had beaming smiles on their faces. "What did you keep it so secret for? I'm happy for you, bro." Johnny clapped Adam on the back and brought him in for a hug. "Who would've thought you'd be the one to get married first, eh?"

"They haven't said yes yet." Johnny looked his brother in the eyes with upmost certainty. "Trust me, they will." Adam turned to his father who's expression had turned a little mixed.

"Please tell me you've told your mother. She's going to go mad if she's not the first one you've told." Adam shook his head. "No, if I did, she'd blurt everything out to Y/N before I'd even had a chance to plan anything. Which reminds me, I need a little help with the actual proposal. I think I should keep it simple, nothing too much, but I know that some people like everything to be over the top about their weddings, even the proposal."

Martin stood up and clapped his son on the back. "If you want my advice, don't marry at all. You age about 50 years just after you say 'I do'". He walked to the kitchen laughing, with Adam throwing a cushion after him.

"Ignore dad. Just do whatever your heart tells you to do. Whatever you think they'll like, just do it. Just don't fuck it up otherwise you'll never live it down, I'll make sure of it." Johnny winked and smiled as Adam shook his head and brought him in for a hug.

"Thanks, Johnny. Now I have to do the hard bit and try and hide everything from mum." At that moment, Jackie walked into the room and began to potter around. An evil smirk rested on Johnny's face and Adam knew exactly he was going to do. "Don't you fucking dare, Johnny."

Johnny wiggled his eyebrows and toddled over to Jackie. "Mum, I just thought I'd tell you this because Adam wasn't going to.... He's going to propose to Y/N. Bye!"

Johnny ran out of the room and left Adam fending for himself against his mother. "I HATE YOU, PISSFACE!"
