White Lies - Death
Today marks the close of our week of trailers from Architecture & Design Film Festival! We leave you with 'Christiania - 40 Years of Occupation,' a documentary based in Copenhagen, Denmark, which is the story of an abandoned military base occupied by the squatter community. Very interesting!
Today we continue by sharing a trailer for "Neon" which will be screened at the Architecture and Design Film Festival in New York. Neon is a documentary focused on the history of neon signs from Warsaw & Poland during the era of Communism. They explore the context that birthed those signs, meanings they have acquired since and connections between specific locations and persons. Enjoy!
Here's another preview of films being screened at Architecture and Design Film Festival. This is for 'Maker,' a documentary that takes a look at the 'Do-It-Yourself' movement and the impact it has on society, culture and economy within the US.
Continuing with our 'preview a day' series this week we've got an interesting one titled 'Brooklyn Farmer'. Enjoy!
New York's Architecture & Design Film Festival kicks off this Wednesday, October 15th and ends on Sunday the 19th! As a result we'll be sharing one preview a day for the remainder of the week! First here's 'Making Space: 5 Women Changing the Face of Architecture.'
