A conversation with FasterCures Executive Director, Margaret Anderson, and the National Institute of Mental Health's Dr. Jay Giedd.
I just finished watching this video from May 10, 2012, it is just over an hour long but I found it really interesting and more importantly relative. I recommend watching it. It discusses brain development, puberty, adolescence health, screen time/internet/technology, different studies on adolescent's a long with a few other things. It brings up the idea where people say that the teenage brain is broken and argues that this is incorrect and that we just don't quite understand it, and that understanding it is important. He uses explanations/metaphors that are easy to understand. I took notes as i watched it and would recommend that that could be useful if you decide to watch this :)
