Making Phantasia was the most fun I had out of these three, but I’m happy with Copper’s design
honestly, I can see silver fox Chekhov. Hear me out on it- *gets dragged to the backrooms*
Anywho have this little adoptive family since Chekhov can’t pretend to be emotionally detached when he has his two little girls (who will both be taller than him in less than a year probably.)
I'm starting to realize I have a thing for adoptive father/found family tropes involving a man (who has some trauma) either unwillingly or fully willingly adopting a random ass kid or group of children with equal amounts, if not more trauma, than the dad.
Need examples?
Roy Mustang/Maes Hughes and the Elric brothers
Quifery and his like four daughters
Gojo and all of his students
Reigen Arataka and all his child employees
Kinger and Caine (Yes i know he technically made him shush)
before you adopt a child, can you do your P.A.R.T.?
P: possess a high level of patience and understanding.
A: account for their needs, regardless of disability, trauma, or background.
R: reach out to therapists, teachers, and other professionals who can support them in the ways they need.
T: try to maintain a safe, clean, organized home, provide them with their own bedroom (if age appropriate and/or possible), and be willing to learn and adapt to their needs.
adoption isn't easy, but it's important that you do your PART for them. healing, trust, and adjustment all take time, which is why a huge amount of this process is on you to safely care & nurture them.
Look, this man carried me through middle school. I am tempted to write a whole ass series about this xD
>No TW, just wholesome
>Found Family / adoptive father
•He would never exactly want kids per say, or actively go out of his way to adopt someone
•But he would totally be the accidental adoptive father
•"that thing isnt mine" whenever asked
•"Yeah idk it just started following me one day and it won't go away" type shit
•But he does actually love you and feel responsible for you
•When youre having a hard time he'll come in and talk to you and offer some advice
•And if need be he'll go bust someone's lip
•Definitely won't tell you about, but if you see the person's black eye and put 2 and 2 together, he'll admit to it
•"Fuck around find out" yknow how it goes
~
•If you talk about a romantic interest he wont be a dipshit
•Tim will actually listen about your crush and give advice - if you ask for it, he won't impose
•When you bring your new partner around him, he'll greet them kindly with a firm handshake
•They're basically family too now
•Will definitely gently point out red flags. He'll stand with you no matter what and protect you where he can, but sometimes you don't notice things until someone else points it out. And he know that sometimes you just need feelings validated by somebody else to accept that there's an issue and you're not "crazy"
•Plus he'd be totally supportive of you if you're queer. But I think that's a given, come on, its Marble Hornets we're talking about
Has Kinger found it difficult to accept Jax as his son? or have not yet fully accepted it
TADC DAD AU 54
He's pretty happy about it, most of the time hes not really paying attention to his surroundings, so when Queenie shows up saying they will adopt Jax, Kinger is like "oh nice, a new kid to show my insect collection to"
He's devastated when Jax lied though, mostly because Kinger thought HE did something to make Queenie not want to talk to him and Jax not let him into her room
