On Tuesday, August 19, 2014 a debate took place between Pastor Mark Fitzpatrick of Arann Reformed Baptist Church, Dublin, Ireland  and Adrian Warnock, part of the Leadership Team of Jubilee Church London, England and hosted by Revelation TV

Pastor Mark subscribes to the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith and Adrian is a “Reformed Charismatic”.

Jubilee Church London is part of New Frontiers International (NFI) (UK and US). NFI was created by Terry Virgo who believes he is an apostle and that apostles exist today.

Interesting discussion. Rob Bell is brilliant. I strongly disagree with most of what Adrian Warnock said, the only thing he said that I agree with was that many non-evagelicals believe in a literal bodily ressurection of Christ. On that note, many 'liberal Christians' believe in a bodily ressurection, myself included (although, I am not a liberal Christian). Continuing along those lines many Christians have dropped the label 'liberal Christian' like a hot potato, and tend more towards 'progressive Christian' 'emergent Christian' etc. Liberal Christianity is a dying movement in Christianity. More often than not, nowadays, it is just seen as a political label (liberal) attached to a religious label (Christian). Progressive Christianity, and emergent Christianity are both Christian movements in full flow.

What seems to be at stake in your nation is the ability for people to get along and disagree agreeably. This is much more than just a political issue. If as soon as the vote was cast, you all united again as “Americans” and supported the right of people from every sort of background to live as full members of society without fear of being insulted or worse, it would not be such an issue. But as I have posted elsewhere there is a growing undercurrent where Evangelicals feel persecuted, Homosexuals can still be physically assaulted, Muslims feel unfairly tarred with the brush of terrorist extremism, and atheists are still seen by some as second class citizens. Unfortunately some from all these groups are not just on the receiving end of discrimination, but are also on the giving end.
