The bookshops in the city always reminded him of Belle, of the countless hours they would spend in the castle's library as the books were pulled off the shelves and were stacked around them on any free inch of space they could find. But those treasured days were lost to him now, replaced with the hustle and bustle of the twenty-first century. As he made his way through the bookshop, his hands trailed along the spines poking out of the shelves. Frowning as the toe of his boot knocked a book on the floor, he bent to pick it up. "Miss, I think you—" The words died in his mouth as he looked at the young woman. Could it be? His mouth went dry, his heart beating wildly against his ribcage. Hers was a face he had never believed he would see again save for his dreams. "Belle?"
