"You don't need to worry," They huffed, watching as you tenderly caressed a cut on their cheek.
"Of course I do," You argued without second thought. "Even if you can't properly die, it doesn't mean you can't hurt. I don't like when you get hurt."
The sincerity in your tone threw them off, their mouth parted slightly as they watched you gaze at them so fondly. They couldn't deny you when you said such sweet things, letting you fret and tend to their wounds. Your touch was so gentle, so reverent as you cleaned and tended to the tiny scratch that you both knew would heal in hours if not minutes.
"There you go," You hummed with a small smile. Then, you placed a short kiss on top of the bandage. "All better now."
And if they liked to think they only healed faster because of your kisses, wouldn't it be cruel for you to deprive them of such a medicine?

would love some more thoughts on the wrestling turned smut with adult!finn because I have been thinking about the hc nonstop since I read it and it's unparalleled. no pressure of course and thank you so much for all the amazing work <3
Adult Finn is VERY assured in himself, spiritually, physically and mentally. So he’ll use any and all opportunities to show off himself to you, not because he’s cocky! He just loves flirting with you🥰.
So playfully wrestling with you is something he loves to do. He can go as tough or as softly as you want.
Once he has his arms around you, he could wrap you into a pretzel easily…. But he loves it when you wrestle him to the ground and straddle his hips.
If you act all evil and like he’s completely at your mercy, you will notice him getting hard under you. He’s a masochist, through and through. He’ll gentle wrestle you while you can go as hard as you want on him.

You wake to the sound of gentle snoring beside you, a leg tangled with your own. Marceline lies there, jet-black hair messy and long, twisting with every slow turn she makes in her sleep. You watch her breathe, soft and steady. You know she’s probably writing verses in her dreams—she always does. She writes until her fingers ache, trying to verbalize every emotion she can’t bear to hold in silence. It’s her way of being vulnerable. Her way of trapping the feelings she fears will fade.
The room is dark, except for the soft glow of candles scattered around—puddles of amber light pooling across the floor and sheets. You sit up, careful not to disturb her, and pad quietly to the kitchen. You brew the kettle, steam curling upward in thin ribbons, and prepare black tea with a splash of honey. Just how she likes it.
You reach into the fridge and take out raspberries, hands gentle as you crush them for jam. That’s when you feel her head on your shoulder.
She exhales, voice still hushed by sleep.
“Good morning.”
Then she leans in and licks a streak of tart raspberry juice from your cheek—slow, lazy, like a cat tasting sunlight.
Half an hour later, while the jam rests, you find her sitting on the living room floor. Her bass is nestled in her lap, fingers gliding across the strings. The notes she strums are soft, half-formed, her breath ghosting your name in small spills of sound.
“Marcy,” you murmur, settling beside her.
She offers a half smile—just the barest twitch at the corners of her lips.
“My muse.”
Heat blooms along your cheeks. You look away, embarrassed, and she tucks her chin down toward the neck of her bass.
“Sing this verse with me,” she says.
You laugh under your breath. “Yeah right. I’ll puncture everyone’s eardrums.”
She shakes her head, amusement warming her features. “Just sing with me.” She shifts closer, eyes soft and open. “I want to share this with you.”
You pause, inhale.
“Okay.”
She begins. The beat is slow at first, patient, like dawn stretching into the sky. Her voice drips smooth as honey and milk.
“I just wanna slow dance with you…”
You follow her rhythm, tasting each word as it leaves your mouth. The space between you tightens. Your lips brush mid-lyric. Her hands slip from the bass, forgetting the strings entirely, fingertips threading into your hair like she’s been thinking about it all morning. Like she’ll forget every song she’s ever written if she doesn’t touch you right now.

I am gagging at how the Adventure time/Fionna and Cake ‘x reader’ section of the fandom is DEAD. 😭
Dead, Deserted and Desolated. Like GURRRL.
Simon, Finn, Hunter, Huntress, Marcy, PB, Fern, Fennel, M.chrome, Flame Princess, Prismo, Scarab, there’s just sooo much potential. I genuinely thought a new season could’ve gotten some inspiration flowing but it didn’t do it for y’all, Kermie 🥹💔.
to all writers out there now that Fionna and Cake season two is coming out and the first episode already released..can we get some works with human Monochromicorn im begging y'all to see the vision
Hi, I hope you're doing well lovely and I hope everything is going well. DIK If you're interested in this request. But can you do Headcanons of marshall lee having a crush on human female s/o who is Fionna/Jake's twin sister and instead of using a sword like her twin sibling, she uses a bow and arrow and the arrows have different elements of magic and she is just as good at fighting as her sibling.
🎸 Marshall Lee x human fem!Reader headcanons Twin 🦇
Marshall liked scaring your sisters. He found it quite funny, every time he was sure that there were only two of them, until one night he saw you. From a distance, he mistook you for Fionna and was surprised that instead of the usual sword, she used a bow and magic arrows. He had never seen her with such a weapon and went to her to find out the reason for such an unexpected change. It wasn't until he got closer that he realized it wasn't Fionna. You looked a lot like her, but there were small details that could only be seen up close, or in the light of day. Different clothes, slightly different hairstyle. You dealt with your opponents without any problems and only then noticed him. Marshall expected you to mistake him for an enemy, but you didn't. You looked at him with a slight frown and then asked him if he was the one who was scaring your sisters. After receiving his confirmation, you nodded in satisfaction and introduced yourself. You were Fionna's twin sister, and that explained your similarities
You weren't home that often, but you really loved your sisters. Every time you were at home and Marshall came to you, he paid a lot of attention to you. You were interesting and he liked talking to you. He'd be lying if he said he hadn't started having certain feelings for you that he didn't have for Fionna. And it was obvious to your sisters. But unlike Fionna, you didn't seem to notice much about his feelings for you. You weren't scared when he was playing pranks on you, you traveled a lot and he visited you on your travels when he was nearby. You didn't mind his company at all, treating him like your sister's friend. Sometimes he would bring you a snack after learning from Fionna that you particularly enjoyed eating. Looking at your smile, he couldn't help but smile back. Sometimes he even invited you to his concerts, and when you went there, Marshall's grin widened when he saw you in the audience
When he came to your house one night, he found you there. Your sisters were asleep, and you were sitting in the living room making arrows. You didn't mind him sitting with you as long as he didn't bother your sisters. Marshall watched you making arrows and asked why you were doing it. You told him that you didn't like using a sword unlike your sister, so you decided to use a bow and arrow, but simple arrows weren't very useful when it came to opponents like ice golems. That's why you started making arrows filled with magic. You told him with a smile about how you experimented with different materials, some of which you bought and some of which you found on your travels. You talked about it with a twinkle in your eyes, and the longer he listened to you, the more he realized that you really liked it
Sometimes he brought you various magical things. He liked to see you smile when you got the chance to try to create new arrows. You didn't always succeed, but you thanked him for the gifts anyway. Marshall was thinking of something else he could please you with. He really wanted to show you the feelings he had for you, but you didn't see his feelings. But that didn't mean he was going to give up. Marshall would unobtrusively find out from your sisters what you liked, and when he was composing new songs, he would unconsciously remember you and the lines he wrote looked like he was dedicating these songs to you. He wasn't going to show these lines to anyone, much less sing them, so he hid them in his house
Marshall was flirting with you, but you didn't take him seriously, remembering your twin sister's stories about him flirting with her. He never thought that it would have such consequences. But he was determined. He had a lot of time to prove to you that his feelings for you were real, serious. Much more serious than he had thought when he first realized them

❥Synopsis: Fern has a little bit of a freak out when a few innocent doodles in your journal unconsciously unearthed some insecurities of his.
❥A/n: So i started writing this one in the spur of the moment, it’s a vague concept i had in mind but i didn’t want to elaborate too much on it so i made this manageable drabble instead.
With how much time you spend at the treehouse it isn’t unusual for you to forget some of your belongings lying around. When he found your diary on the floor he didn’t make much out of it besides putting it somewhere safe for when you came back, but when he crouched down to pick it up he couldn’t help but notice the little doodles you made on the open pages.
It was small things you saw yesterday when you two were out laying in the grass fields, a mama bird feeding her babies, a that looked like a corndog, and some wild flowers. Fern found them charming and didn’t realize you had skill for art so he skimmed the pages in search for more of your illustrations, there was no malicious intent behind it since he didn’t read whatever you wrote but his eyes soon found one set of your older drawings, it was one of BMO and curiously enough of a long haired individual. His eyes narrowed as he felt something familiar about the stranger until he noticed their missing teeth. Fern raised a hand to his own mouth, feeling the space where he was missing a few of his own, eventually he realized who the person was. It was him, or at least when he was a human boy. Fern skimmed a few pages back, the illustrations becoming more detailed as he continued on.
This could mean a few things, that you chose him as a practice subject or he was in your line of sight when you were drawing, as is the case with the previous drawings. But that thought soon blew over when he saw the little hearts scattered all over the next drawing. Fern didn’t realize how hard he was clutching the notebook until the pages started crinkling loudly, dropping it completely as he tried to make sense of what he was feeling.
Jealousy?
Tricked?
Suddenly his memories of how kindly you received him when he presented himself as Finn’s grass double started making sense, you weren’t being nice out of the kindness of your heart but rather because you looked like the boy you had a crush on for a long time now. Or atleast, that’s what that nasty demon inside him made him believe.
“Hey Fern, i forgot some stuff lying have you… seen it.” the chirpy mood you walked in suddenly dropped when you saw your notebook on the ground, immediately going to pick it up.
“Oh, I've seen it.” he grumbled, his hands still shaking.
You couldn’t make sense of why he spoke as he did, even as you saw the crumpled paper and the contents inside your notebook.
“I saw all of it, how much you gush over him in your little diary.” Fern starts talking in an exasperated voice, unable to stop himself from gradually raising his voice. “Is that why you were so eager to be friends with me? you couldn’t get yourself the real deal so you went after the knock off version of him is that it!?” he gave you an accusatory glare that looked unfamiliar on him, it was obvious it was his insecurities talking but neither of you would know that at the moment. Especially with how he kept throwing shade at you without a chance to speak.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about Fern. Yeah, I made those drawings years ago, but that doesn't mean-” you try to make sense of what he’s getting at, but he takes steps closer to you as you fail to organize the thoughts in your head. Impulsively making you take a step back as he draws closer.
“I wasn’t expecting you to admit it,” he interrupts. Looking away from you in disbelief soon turns into an insincere smile. “You’ve been good to me all this time so I'll give you what you’ve always wanted.” A vacant laugh escapes him like the last breaths of a dying creature.
The little wooden alcove where you two hang out is separate from the main tree house, it’s covered by the tree foliage overhead so during the day it casts shadows in between beams of sunlight. As you back into the wall, nervously holding your notebook to your chest as you refuse to take your eyes off Fern as he approaches you like a predatory animal, every time he walks past the sunbeams haphazardly shining through the alcove it illuminates his grass body like horizontal zebra stripes briefly before getting back into the shade. However when the next sun beam illuminated him there was no vibrant green on sight, instead you were met with the peachy tones of his skin and the vibrant blues you’ve grown used to seeing on none other than Finn the human.
You audibly gasp when Fern comes into view looking like someone completely different, but familiar at the same time. You could've easily confused him for the real human boy if it wasn’t because you saw him change in front of you.
The fake smile was gone from his face when he stood in front of you, unimpressed at your surprised expression. “What’s the matter? you have the hero of Ooo all for yourself and now you’re chickening out? tssk.” Fern slammed his hand on the wall right beside your head, leaning forward as you looked away. He didn’t like that you were silent all of a sudden, he wasn’t the most talkative type but he always liked it when you talked to him about anything no matter how mundane it was. That was one of the reasons why he liked you so much, which is why he’s reacting so badly to your little drawings without context. He always assumed he was never enough, not for you, not for Jake nor anyone of his previous friends before he was trapped in the Finn sword. The reminder made his stomach churn.
He grabbed the underside of your chin, pressing his thumb and index finger into your cheeks as he forces you to look at him.
“...Stop it.” you whisper. Eyes clutch and lips pressed together.
No matter how much he was in denial, it didn’t justify how he was acting and he didn’t stop.
“Say it, say you wanted Finn’s attention all along instead of mine.” Fern taunted in a mean spirited tone. “I saw how the others look at me, is that how you look at me when I'm not looking?”
“No.”
There was a noise caught in his throat, his nostrils flaring in frustration. “You know I'm right, no one cares about the grass boy.”
“That’s not true.” you insist, peeking a single eye open.
“Then why are you shaking?” he responds, having the audacity to lower himself to your neck and kiss the bare skin there.
It took a moment for you to process the sensation. The tickling sensation on your neck dropping to your stomach, twisting and twirling it like it was made into taffy as you fought with the urge to squeal or sigh instinctively. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t want this for a while, but from Fern specifically, and ideally in different circumstances.
That was the final straw that broke you out of your fear stricken state and smacked him across the face with your thick leather notebook, he didn’t topple over like you expected but he did take a step back as he cradled his hurt cheek. You faced him properly and held eye contact as the two of you remained silent, taking a moment to observe his appearance attentively, although he looked like Finn’s split image he was lacking those baby blue eyes that were instead replaced by bright yellow ones with darken slits.
“Because you're scaring me Fern!” you finally shout at him, feeling your own compressed emotions springing up your throat. “Look man, I don’t know what has gotten into you but everything you’re coming up with is astronomical levels of bullshit! Yeah I had a crush on Finn when I was thirteen, that was almost a decade ago! I move on, so anything about me befriending you because of him is bogus.” Your tone is exasperated, but you still kept going because you didn’t want him interrupting you again. “I like you for who you are! because I think you’re cool and persistent with being a good guy despite all the bad looks you get. But honestly you’re making it really hard for me to keep that image of you with this freak ass stunt you pulled.”
Fern stood in place with a different look of disbelief, the kind where he couldn’t believe you saw him in a positive light he didn’t even see himself. Shame soon overwashed him and he shifted back to his grassy appearance as he wanted to make himself seem small at his mistakes. “I don’t know what got over me. I’m sorry about that, I am so so sorry.” his voice cracked a bit, uncertain if saying sorry would be enough.
You were this close to just leaving, to refuse his apology and leave. But you’re not like that, you recognize his guilt and figured you’d find a way to get him to truly make it up for you. But that can wait for later.
“I’ll look over it for now, at least until you make it up to me with a fancy dinner or something.” you sigh, sitting next to him where he hugged his knees on the floor. “This should be proof enough that I value our bond, you dingus.” you bump your fist against his shoulder.
“I’ll make it up to you I swear! I’ll book a nice restaurant, one that has those unlimited bread sticks.” The acidic gloominess clouding over Fern’s eyes returned to normal after that confirmation that you weren’t leaving him.
“Hmm, I do love those.” you lean your head against the wall behind you.
