After Trespasser: She finally calls for the end of the inquisition and secretly diverts their resources to stopping the dumb old elf from killing everyone. She and Sera spend the next few years in the field helping refugees of the war and finishing off many remaining demons. The wives are inseparable and live by the rule that actions speak louder than any horns, ears, or talk.

5 random tidbits: -She could often be found in the Skyhold kitchens pestering the cooks into teaching her how to bake and watching and taking notes as they prepared meals -Is actually Andrastian but would never admit it to Cassandra because she detests the thought of being any sort of holy figure. The anchor, in her opinion, is simply a consequence of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. -She lived her whole life in the shadows and she liked it there, her protesting against being made inquisitor continued for months after being appointed to the position. She finally stopped when she realized that she actually could make a difference. She did not want a title, she did not believe anyone deserved so much power, but she took it for the little people who needed help. -Nazal and Bull got drunk one night early on (before she was made Inquisitor) and ended up in bed together. When he tried to pull his power play act she laughed and used her magic to overpower him. He shrugged and said “If that’’s what you’re into,” and when they woke up the next morning they cackled and nothing else ever came of it. -Has called Blackwall “dad” on multiple occasions. It’s not her fault, she never knew her father.

Shyloh "Shy" Hawke

After Act III: She and Merrill go into hiding together, traveling around the Free Marches until Shy joins the Inquisition. When Merrill gets the note that Shy was left in the fade, she travels to Tevinter to join forces with Feynriel. The two search the fade in dreams together until finding a way to bring Hawke home through a combination of the dreamer’s powers, blood magic, and a certain warn down mirror. After recovering in Tevinter, the couple meet up with Fenris assist him in his fight to free slaves. They escort anyone Fenris can save to Isabela’s new ship, and she transports them to Kirkwall where the new viscount grants them asylum. One of the rescued slaves is a 6 year old elven girl, Mahlana. When they meet her, Merrill and Shy look at each other and know they have to protect this one, and that’s how they adopt their daughter.

5 random tidbits: - Shy Hawke is the tallest human in Kirkwall. Taller then Carver ever was, taller than Anders and Cullen, the only people taller than her are the Qunari. - The friend group makes bets on whether Shy or Merrill will out-compliment the other in various situations. Isabela and Anders once drunkenly acted out a scene of how they think the couple has sex and it was just a series of disgustingly sweet compliments. - She has the mindset of a spirit healer, except she isn’t a mage, so instead she carries around a backpack of potions, poultices, and bandages so that she can always take care of her companions after a fight. - Can and will carry the weight of the world on her shoulders as she smiles brightly and is crushed slowly beneath it. - Spent quite a bit of her off time in Kirkwall helping Anders in his clinic. If things had been different, she very well may have spent her life as a healer.

Jutta "Sky-Healer" Hellasdotten

Age: 28 at the beginning of inquisition Sexuality: Straight Origin: Avvar Three words to describe her personality: Respectful, Quizzical, Candid Theme Song: Eyes on Fire (Blue Foundation)

Class: Rogue, Dual Weapon Specialization: Tempest Mages or templars: Mages Reaction to being named the inquisitor: These lowlanders really are something, huh? Ah well, the Lady of the Skies needs healing and this is the best way to help her.

Romantic Interest: Blackwall Kids: Kelda and Thoran Best Friend: Cole Biggest Rival Companion: Plenty of people don't like her but she'd have to care about someone disliking her to have a rival. Go-to party members: Blackwall, Sera or Cole, whichever mage would be most useful.

After Trespasser: After disbanding the Inquisition, Jutta and Thom return to her home, Edvarr Hold (which had technically been exiled to Tevinter but was thriving due to her support), and settle down to start a family. She is welcomed back and given the legend mark "Sky Healer." While Blackwall's arrival brings about skepticism, that's quickly overcome by the hold as they see his respect for their culture and hear the tales about how he helped close the breach. Over the next six years they get married and have a daughter, Kelda, and a son, Thoran. They also have a mabari and a bear that they adopted as a newborn after accidentally killing its mother. The Hold thinks the mabari is the stranger pet.

5 random tidbits: -Everyone always talks about how strange Cole is, but Jutta doesn't see it. She understands everything the boy says, and finds him to be incredibly wise. While Cole had returned to the fade not long after the inquisition disbanded, Blackwall often overhears Jutta's end of conversations with the spirit of compassion. Similarly surprising, the only other member of the Inquisition that Jutta stays in active contact with is Sera. -Absolutely never thought she'd fall in love with a lowlander, but something about Blackwall made her look past their strange customs. His pure heart, his lack of judgement, his respect for differences, and need to continuously improve himself; he's a good man and he makes her heart warm. -Was always curious about the lowlands and would often accompany traders on their trips into villages as she was growing up. When the war started and the hold heard about the conclave, Jutta was top of mind to be sent to spy on the negotiations and bring updates back to the hold. -Doesn't care about any of the "Herald of Andraste" or Chantry nonsense, attributing it all to another culture's beliefs. She does, however, believe she was chosen for this task by the Gods and that the spirit who helped her out of the fade may have been The Lady of the Skies herself. Meeting the spirit in the fade only strengthened her beliefs. -Her father is Amund (Sky Watcher), and briefly believed that she'd abandoned their tribe and gods before she explained the situation to him in the Fallow Mire. The Hand of Korth, who kidnapped inquisition soldiers, had a similar understanding but was unwilling to hear Jutta's explanation. That whole situation may have been made worse by the fact that they were ex-lovers.

Nika Hawke Vael

Age: 22 when they moved to Kirkwall Sexuality: Demisexual Personality: Initially purple, but then mostly red by act 3. Three words to describe their personality: Faithful, remorseful, wry. Theme Song: Devil Inside (CRMNL)

Class: Warrior, Weapon and Shield Specialization: Templar Mages or templars: Typically Templars, but sides with the mages in Act 3 because she doesn't condone the slaughter of innocents. Reaction to being named champion of Kirkwall: Well somebody had to do something.

Romantic Interest: Sebastian Kids: No Best Friend: Fenris Biggest Rival Companion: She gets along with everyone fairly well until be terrified during Night Terrors in Act 2, when she starts having an issue with the mages. She and Anders have some serious issues after he almost kills Ella and they only get worse over the next 3 years. Go-to party members: Fenris, Aveline, Sebastian

After Act III: She doesn't leave Kirkwall immediately like everyone believes. In fact, she's there for a few months sheltering with Fenris, working with on plans to build a new chantry, and holding services for the faithful during the late hours of the night. She's hardly recognizable with her head shaved, iconic makeup lost, and chantry robes replacing her typical templar armor, but of course she's eventually found out. That's when she joins Sebastian in Starkhaven, where he is working to take back his throne. She leaves her husband's side only when Bethany writes to her that she's started to hear the calling, and Nika disappears to help protect the only other Hawke left. After the Inquisition, she rejoins Sebastian to assist in ruling over Kirkwall. On occasion she leaves to travel between towns to offer support and faith to those still recuperating from the war.

5 random tidbits: - While a faithful Andrastian her whole life, Nika's commitment to the Chantry really spiked after her mother died and she found solace in Elthina's prayers and Sebastian's assurances. She became a sister and then a templar between Act 2 and Act 3. - Nika HATES the fade. She does not stick around to help the wardens at all after the Inquisition's trip to the fade. Under her steel expression and unwavering shield, she is absolutely terrified. She can do nothing more than ride to the nearest Chantry before breaking down and begging the Maker for His support. - She basically feels like everything that's ever gone wrong is her fault. Carver's death, her mother's death, the Qunari assault, Anders' actions, Corypheus' escape; she could have done SOMETHING to stop them from happening. But she didn't, and now all she can do is pray for forgiveness and swear to be better. - She's very similar to a hardened Leliana in the sense that she believes she is doing the Maker's work. She does what needs to be done for the good of Thedas, and she does it so that no one else has to. "Though darkness closes, I am shielded by flame. Andraste, guide me. Maker, take me to your side." - Her friends would have had very different relationships with her if they'd met after she was hardened at the end of Act 2, they all remember the person she used to be - the person they still get to see on occasion when drinks are passed around at the Hanged Man or a particularly stupid group of bandits decide to jump in their path. Nika's humor had always been dry and dark, but it used to be filled with joy. With the hope and heart of a child still learning about the world. Now she's seen what lies in the shadows, and no amount of sarcasm could hide it's hold on her. Even the non-believers saw the light the Chantry brought back to her, and they were thankful for that bit of salvation.

Rille Tabris

After Awakening: Rille and her newly pronounced husband honeymoon across Thedas and only settle back down in Denerim when she gives birth to their son, Adrel. The family lives in the alienage there happily while Rille serves as advisor to the throne (per Alistair's demands, much to Anora's distaste) and often adventures around Fereldan just for the hell of it, until one day Zev is woken by the sound of Rille seizing in bed next to him. That day they pack up and their travels begin again. The calling will not take her from them.

5 random tidbits: -Rille is partially blind and has been her whole life, although it gets worse as she ages. The way she sees is similar to consistent tunnel vision, so while fighting she relies heavily on instincts and her other senses. She considers this an advantage, as when others may be incapacitated in the dark, Rille is able to seek out and conquer her enemies with ease. -She was simply obsessed with the way people expressed themselves through their physical appearance as her travels began. She had always worn clothes that were available and just let her hair grow. Exploring the world of hairstyles, fashion, jewelry, tattoos, etc. was one of her favorite fascinations. When her companions saw things they knew she would like but were too distant for her to see, they would always explain them to her and she adored it. -Due to the above, during the year she spent fighting the 5th blight she had Morrigan chop off of her hair, got her first tattoo in the Dalish camp, had Zevran pierce her ear, and giggled with Leliana about wardrobe choices in each new area. -Cannot hold her liquor but is absolutely adorable when she tries. She'll stomach the worst of Oghren's booze and joke with him for hours until Zevran eventually comes to make sure she gets to her tent for the night safely. Her jokes are terrible and, Maker, he loves her for them. -She did not get along with Alistair when they initially met, he was a young man that reminded her a bit too much of the shems back in Denerim. But he was soft and patient with her, and is one of the main reasons she was able to start working through her PTSD. Her use of humor as a coping mechanism may have been influenced by him as well. His want to not sit on the throne is exactly why she put him on it, it was time that the power-hungry men loose the upper hand.

Nolanni Lavellan

After Trespasser: The following years were about nothing but family to her. The year-and-a-half-year-old that she'd decided to not tell Solas about (the first time she'd ever deceived someone, but not the last), would be told the whole truth about her father and about elven history. The two visited the Lavellen clan on numerous occasions, and all other time was devoted to finding and saving Solas. When on a dangerous mission, Nolanni would leave Elera in Dagna's care.

Five random tidbits: -Impacted greatly by her anger, joy and sorrow, Nolanni never hides her emotions. Instead, she has learned how to use them to her advantage and does not bend easily. Her knight enchanter sword changes color depending on which emotion she's channeling. -Fights with Sera non-stop (has negative approval) but would absolutely die for her. -While she can have a temper she is the kindest soul you will ever meet, and loves as sharply as a sword. Her humor is always playful and light, and with just one small smile and a few gentle words she can help the guiltiest man feel worthy of redemption (Ahem, Blackwell, Cullen, Cassandra, Varric, Hawke. Now just gotta figure out the whole Fen'Harel thing...) -Morrigan and Nolanni disagree on many things, but there is a pact between the mothers that has never been spoken to another soul. Should something ever happen to Nolanni, or should the fight for Solas ever become too much, Morrigan will take Elera and raise her in safety. -She hates killing and only murders as a last resort. In every companion quest that optionally ends in someone dying, she stops it. She never sentenced someone to death while sitting on the Inquisition's throne.

Freya Brosca

Age: 25 when recruited Sexuality: Bisexual Origin: Dwarf, Casteless Three words to describe her personality: Charming, Funny, Defensive Theme song: Trouble (Valerie Broussard)

After Awakening: Leliana was called away to the Devine's side and Freya decided to join Shale on her adventures in Tevinter for a while. She had gotten quite used to traveling around, as it felt like of a home than Dust Town ever had, so traveling is what she continued to do. Maybe, if she found a cure for the calling, she could finally put down roots with her Devine.

5 random tidbits: -Leliana did actually reach Freya when Cassandra was initially looking for someone to lead the inquisition. Her response was "You know I love you, babe. but I'm not getting involved in that shit." -Freya and Alistair were the biggest dude-bro buds that the wardens had ever seen, but after the defeat of the archdemon the two never spoke again. Was it so bad that she'd spared Logain long enough for him to take down the dragon? She often wondered if she'd made a mistake, if she should have killed Logain at the landsmeet and been the one to make the final blow against the blight. -Returned home to see her sister and nephew many times, and was happy to see Bhelen's movement against the caste system growing stronger with each visit. When she was granted the title of Paragon by the assembly, she accepted with a speech that inspired many casteless dwarves and angered many nobles. -Has interesting relationships with both of the older male companions. Punched Sten in the face multiple times, doesn't know why he still sticks around. Can drink Oghren under a table but usually wakes up in some random bush every time she tries. -Sees Wynne as the mother figure she always wished she had, and was thrilled to find her along for the ride when she joined Shale in Tevinter.

Marsilia "Silia" Valisti

Romantic Interest: The Iron Bull + Josephine Kids: Natale, Matteo, and Gianna Best Friend: Gets along with the gays best at first but in the end her closest friend is Cullen. Biggest Rival Companion: Hardly anyone likes her but they all come around to love her.

After Trespasser: It is ridiculously difficult for Silia to give up her position as Inquisitor, and she returns to Antiva with Josephine, Natale, Bull, and ALL of the Chargers to cope with everything that has happened over the last few years. Soon enough BOTH Josephine and Marsilia are pregnant and then there are six little feet running around their estate (and quite a few big ones - yes, the Chargers all live with them too). The Crows make multiple assassination attempts when she refuses to return to them, but with such a well guarded estate they don't stand a chance.

5 random tidbits: - Just as lethal with a knife as she is with a staff, Marsilia was purchased from the slave market as a child and raised to be an assassin until she came into her magic as a pre-teen. At that point she was snatched up by House Valisti for special training and became the "personal pet" of Claudio Valisti who later rose to the rank of Third Talon. After Isabela kills Claudio, Silia is overcome with grief and throws herself into her assassinations. She vows to slit Isabela's throat should they ever meet, not recognizing the amount of further abuse that she is really being saved from. This may bring about tensions when Hawke shows up at Skyhold. - The Crows utilized her skills as a mage in many ways, including conducting numerous experiments on her to see just how powerful they could make her. Because of this, she has a critical addiction to lyrium by the time she joins the Inquisition that she only sobers from with Cullen and Bull's help. It's tricky for a mage, when lyrium is actually necessary, and she has been tempted by red lyrium on multiple occasions. This is one of the main reasons Silia turns to blood magic.   - She is only at the conclave to seek out a target, but plays along as Cassandra's "Herald of Andraste" as this seat is incredibly useful for the Crows. Admittedly, she enjoys the power in her hands and doesn't particularly care about the cause one way or the other. It's when she's faced with the choice between the Qunari alliance or the Chargers' lives when she realizes, shit, I'm starting to care about these people. - Despite her consistent sarcasm and brashness, Marcilia is incredibly intelligent and is capable of carrying out witty conversations with the most prestigious scholars. - While she doesn't know it yet, Marsilia fights Corypheus while she's pregnant with the throuple's first child, Natale. She never really planned on being a parent, but must hide her excitement when she does find out.
