Hello, Tumblr. Welcome to my Rabbit Hole Episodes. For today's menu... Gwen Stacy's death.

So today I decided to finish Andrew Garfield's 2nd Spider-Man movie (because tiktok made me remember all the pain I felt when I watched it as a kid).

So, I recorded Gwen Stacy's death scene (u know, the fall) because why the fck not.

So Peter was milliseconds late to catching her and it was the part where he was beside her body.

So he tells her that she's okay and and to breathe while saying it slowly which you know I thought at first that "wow. First stage of grief : denial"

But then he suddenly gets into panic and called her

And then he went into pleading like something was crashing (which was her body—)

So then I remembered in that scene in Endgame where people were saying that it was cannon that Tom's Peter felt/heard Tony's heartbeat slowly coming to a stop.

And then it clicked for me here.

What if Andrew's Peter was okay at first because he can still hear Gwen's heartbeat but then panics

Because he started to feel/hear it becoming slower.... And slower... And slower....

Until it went to a stop? Because all the Peter Parker/Spider-Man has Spidey sense and that could make sense with his reaction?
