First and foremost if Nie Mingjue’s mother was not a six foot tall wall of muscle like her son I quit this fandom. 

Not only that, but I also wholeheartedly refuse to believe that about half (if not more) of the Nie women (damn right I did just say that) are also absolute units like omg everyone’s all like ‘ah i see where chifeng-zun gets it’ when they see him with his female disciples.

ALSO HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HUAISANG IS SO SOFT. Like it doesn’t look soft, and i mean Da-ge is always threatening to break Huaisang’s legs, but it’s really just Nie Mingjue’s way of showing he cares. Constantly strive to do better. Huaisang knows it, too, even though, yes, Da-ge could also break his legs.
