The Pig is the 12th animal of the Chinese Zodiac. Although there a few different stories concerning how that came to be, they all have the same point: the pig arrived late and became the final animal of the 12 animal zodiac!

Like all of the other animals, the pig is also branded according to - Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, And Earth. It’s also seen as Yin when corresponding to Yin and Yang.

The year 2019 corresponds to the year of Earth Pig.

This year the big hearted, trusting, gentle matured pig is carefree, and is being shown as wildly optimistic - bringing in good fortune as well as wealth! Is it any coincidence the money drawing pig is also the symbol for a piggy bank?

The year of the pig (in 2019) is promising us a year full of SUCCESS! The pigs nature is very inviting, and part of its guests include: wealth, success, new people, fortune, pleasures, love. The pig is all about luxury now, especially after the rough time most of us had during the year of the dog (2018)... this is leading many of us to branch out into our own businesses or for a career change, move forward in silence! Practice discerning who is authentic and who isn’t this year; don’t get too caught up in the trusting nature of the pig. Also know that pig is a creature of routine, do not get in repetitive and useless partnerships.
