The club leaders' meeting ends disastrously with a fight between Budo and Itachi. Kaga is thrown onto the tables, and Oka is scared. Aoi protects her, and Kuroko tries to break up the fight. The others watch in shock, and Gema, behind the door, finds content that records him instead of playing games.

Umeji is so glad he showed up to one of these boring meetings for once.

I had a thought about flight, fight or freeze patterns, and you'd think Itachi would be the fight type, you'd be right (idk), but a part of me thinks he's also such a freeze type guy for some reason. Based on different situations ofc, I feel like in the face of physical prowess, he wouldn't back down, but I feel like in the face of an established authority, his head kinda got drilled by his dad hence why he's more willing to take some verbal damage against someone who is considered higher ranking than him (he'd hate it but yknow). Bonus, but I also think he doesn't look like it, but i feel like he'd be such a stickler for the rules, even tho he also breaks them, he feels like someone who shush someone in a library

He shuts you up on the library while he would punch you the next day if the librarians takes her gaze away for... even a second. I bet he had done that before?

Plus the rebelliousness leans more on a social level and at times in established hierarchy, we knoww he's not the standart for a pretty japanese man, neither has the politeness you would guess from, anyone honestly, he's already odd in that aspect, you couldn't compare it to anyone young or anyone but an old man, the lead of an office building that damn doesn't care abt your sleeping problems and would rather you living in the office to not waste work hours

Going back to the respect for the hierarchy I feel when he reaches past 25's he simply sees complains as a nuissance and he feels more annoyance about it and can kind of block it out of his mind if he ever gets scolded by someone older OR high rank, cus it aint the same for him.

Just making a sort of example with Megami- I always wanted to give something to those two but I never got a right idea of why would she be scolding him in the first place, but either way, he has two sides for that specific type of authority because firstly, he partially thinks ones of the reasons she's even council is because of her "rich-girl" status so even if he respects this high-rank role she has, and that she has things to prove she deserves it, he wouldn't really take her 100% seriously, for the same reason even if he does not care about them he would put Kuroko and Aoi higher on the list (despite having a lil of beef with Aoi... thats also a headcanon..) and Akane would be LOW low (ifykyk its just the superficial image that he thinks she's really just there as a mascot of the council he can't see she lowky evil)

Plus since he's a third year he rarely even treats other third-years differently besides the neutralness he genuinely dgaf, the one you could say he treats less rudely despite being younger is Iruka!
