Yesterday I took my mom to the fair and had such a great day hanging out with her. When I went to drop her off she said "gracias, todo estuvo muy lindo" (thank you, everything was wonderful). I can't lie it got me teary. She had a rough life and being a single mother in an unknown country, not knowing the language ... she had her struggles. I am forever grateful to her.
