finally finished my first major story of the semester

#it felt so weird being away for a week but i knew i’d end up procrastinating on here instead of doing what i was supposed to #but now i’m done (for a week and a half)#i have no many fics to catch up on omg #AHHHHH i missed everyone so much!!#alex personal

i hate how attached i get to the main characters in every book i read. i just finished one of the 8 books i’m currently reading my books and yeah, it gave me everything i wanted, including incredible character development, but i want to see how the rest of their lives turn out. i need 100% certainty that they’ll be happy forever

#it doesn’t even have to be a particularly incredible book but i’ll still get attached #i’m not ready to say goodbye to my favorites yet #i mean i finished the book in 2 days so really i did this to myself #my need for immediately knowing how a story ends doesnt mix well with my need for savoring my time with these characters as much as possible #alex personal

The AMC by my house is doing a surprise screening of a SW movie and I’m 99% sure it’s Rogue One. We shall see

First day of in-person classes since March 2020 and if I can get through today without having a panic attack I’m considering it a ✨success✨
