Guys this picture says it all. Back in high school, @vail_jazz selected 3 sax players in the country to attend a jazz camp in #vailcolorado where I studied with a bunch of awesome musicians including #alijackson I told Ali I was from Florida and he invited me to come sit in with a band he was playing with at the @clearwaterjazz fest. Fast forward to after the jazz camp when I returned home. I get to the festival. Once I arrive I realize The 👆🏽and only @deedeebridgewater was killing it on stage. She was so gracious to let me come and play with her band. One of my first “Big Stage” opportunities. She was so supportive and encouraging! Then to be reunited 18years later back stage at the 50th Anniversary @jazzfest as I prepared to hit the stage with another legend #algreen #blessed she dropped so much knowledge in such a short time!
