I'm going to be posit Samwise Gamgee right off the top of my head. Like Sam, you're steadfast and loyal, try to keep your friends on their feet, you feel others' burdens, and while it's perhaps not innate, if you or someone you love is threatened, you will take up arms to protect. Metaphorically speaking, although your interest in weaponry suggests it may not be so metaphorical...

I may or may not be happily beaming. Sam is not someone I would’ve thought of myself, but I’m certainly not going to complain. (Though you’re right that my interest in weaponry is slightly unhobbity :P)
