When he died Clouds did not stop Waters did not still Birds did not quiet He was just another wailing ambulance to give way to His life ended And the world moved on Without hesitation But when he breathed his last I felt the air leave my lungs The burdens he carried Fell off his shoulders Onto my chest And it could not expand The clouds did not stop But they hovered in the sky The waters did not still But they no longer lapped at the shore The birds did not quiet But I heard nothing through the silence When he died The world did not blink But when I close my eyes They fill with tears I noticed When he died I noticed And I will never forget

Our time here is indefinitely short. We forget that we are simply tenants to this dunia (world ). So many people have been passing away and it’s so sad and scary. A 13 yr old Muslim brother was  with friends.hiking. An accident occurred.. he slipped on leaves and passed away on an ordinary hike in socal.  Allah yerhamo and help his family and friends through this hard situation. The beautiful part is that he prayed that last prayer before the accident even if they were in the wilderness.
