Ethos, Pathos, Logos
Finally, the last Tumblr post of my life and I could not be happier!
“How will I execute Ethos, Pathos, Logos as a producer, creator, writer, and activist?”
Section A: Writer
I will try and add ethos, pathos, and logos in order to draw the attention of my audience into my website and make my information as credible to my audience so my point can be taken seriously. By adding Ethos into my website all my information does not seem like I am making it up or obtain my information from unreliable sources. By inter-grading ethos all my information becomes reliable and the audience can trust that I’ve done my research and know what I am talking about. By adding pathos I can persuade the audience in feeling some type of way. In my literature review pathos is showed because I talk about how women sometimes can not pursue their dreams jobs because they decide to become a mom instead. Although their is nothing wrong with that decision, the majority of higher positions are occupied my men. Pathos can come into play and make the audience sympathize with women because it can remind them of their own grandmothers, mothers, or sisters. Lastly, Logos will be included in the form of organizing my paragraphs in my literature review in grouping certain information together so the reader can follow along clearly. The logos aspect of my website will also be the organizations, making sure it is balanced and with the appropriate colors like I learned in the last tumblr post.
Section B: As a Designer.
For my website, I think by making the last tumblr post it has really helped in having a more clear idea as to how a website should look like. With that said I will be following the key elements from last time. I will also ensure that Ethos is present my making sure that not only is my grammar correct but my punctuation as well. I will be organizing my information in bullet point form and I want to make sure I have the correct placement of periods or comas so my audience does not get confused. Logos will be attributing in the sense of picking my colors for the website, and what font the text will be. I do not want to add colors such as a Chartreuse yellow because it will make me lose a sense of credibility by not picking a more professional looking color. Pathos will be the easiest form to put into my website because by controlling and designing on what colors, I can make the mood of my website however I want it to be. That way when my audience is viewing my website they will feel in whatever mood my colors, text, pictures etc portray. For my last step I will just following the rubric on blackboard in order to meet all the requirements!
Now that I've completed this and are really close to finishing this class, I can now enjoy my Tuesdays and not hyperventilate when the clock strikes 9:00 p.m
